I'm a content creator on primarily YouTube which focuses on wrestling essay videos. I am still new to uploading but during the short time I've already gathered a decent following and supportive fanbase. I received an official WWE message from someone in their Digital and Social Media team regarding being a fan of my content and if I was available for a phone call conversation. We arranged a phone call and who I spoke to was pretty direct. They asked me what my thoughts were on The Rock and basically tried to gaslight me into admitting he's full of himself by bringing up some of his Hollywood failures and sudden departure from the WWE. I admittedly shared with them that I do love The Rock but that he isn't perfect. This person who I was on the phone with then started to ask how would I feel about making a video about him and stating all these issues about him. They didn't even offer to pay me but that they're looking forward to working with me more. I was nervous since this was the WWE and I've really spoke to any billion dollar company before so I told them I'd think about it. After a week they emailed me once more asking if I was available for another phone call conversation after I ignored their previous phone calls.

Never fall for the "paid in exposure" gimmick. Don't be a mark.

OP do you get consistent deals? Or work on contract on tiktok or something? My uni has job postings that pay ok for content creation that is usually selling shit and storylines(they give you full specs and pieces they want you to portray over time to shill a product or viewpoints), but I'm wondering if takes a lot of time to do. The ones that'll pay better look for more established accounts but if I can make gayass videos to pay the small bills I have instead of working odd shifts it helps a lot so I can study more.
