i second what >>84050338 said. Flan seems easy to fuck up. There was a store near me who used to do it well, and it was delicious, but after they closed down i couldn't find a spot that did it well. It just tastes bitter from anywhere else.

My cousin made a flan ON TOP of a chocolate cake for christmas a few years ago and I still think about it sometimes. I don't even know her name (weird family drama she only got involved in our senpai as an adult and she's forgettable) but that cake was amazing
