I got diagnosed with chronic migraines a couple years ago .
Basically if I don't take super duper expensive injections once a month it feels like my brain wants to leak out my eyeballs and ears and everything hurts.
But even on these meds that sorta work im at like a 2/10 state most of the time and I end up constantly getting high on dissos (drugs similar to ket) just to avoid feeling shitty .
But while they dull the migraines the drugs also make me retarded and make my memory way worst .
I like what I'm doing in college and I generally enjoy my life but I feel like I'm this close to spiraling into full blown drug addiction with no way out. What do?

I have heard lsd microdoses were used by doctors in cases that the migraines were life-threatening

Try a beta blocker, if that doesn't work you're fucked. Drug addiction isn't that bad unless you go homeless anyway.
