So, I'm not sure how to phrase this, but I hear people say things like "Asexuals are just ugly people who know they can't get a boyfriend/girlfriend." In my case, that's true? While I don't feel sexual attraction, I am a horrendously ugly woman. Could it be that I'm not actually asexual, and that when I was younger I refused any sexual thoughts or urges because I was aware of my grotesqueness, and that I couldn't find a partner even if I wanted too? I'm worried that people will look down on me even more if I say I'm asexual, because I don't think they'd believe me.

Some people do use the term "asexuality" as a cope, since they can't get what they want. Be it sexually or romantically.
I'm not sure what you define as grotesque though.

>Asexuals are just ugly people who know they can't get a boyfriend/girlfriend
Some of the prettiest people I know are ace. Beauty has nothing to do with sexuality, dear

is it of any difference if you're a "real" aggot or you simply got conditioned into not wanting sex like many zoomzooms are?

Telling everyone I have low libido makes me sound gay so I tell them I'm asexual which, though gayer in spirit, is somehow more acceptable because folks don't actually get what it means

idk man, i've tried it with girls i've tried it with guys, it comes to a point where I'm like "Oh, I don't actually desire you"

>Oh, I don't actually desire you
do you suddenly change your mind after taking an initiative or are people expecting each other to be horny from the start?

You know how they say first impressions matter, and the absolute first impression you notice is how hot they are
Our eyes would instantly dart at their secondary sexual characteristics
For girls, her tits and/or ass
For guys, his muscles and/or ass

So when I say I have low libido, seeing someone who's considered hot doesn't do it for me
I'd wanna get to know them first and base my attraction towards them based on how they act, how they speak, how they carry themselves, etc.

The problem is that a lot of people who identify as asexual aren't actually asexual. I used to cope by calling myself asexual as a teen for not being able to get the girl I wanted. It took me years to just admit to myself that I was a seething hypocrite and I got over it eventually.

we might be a couple of low libido people talking about things other people do, because it sounds unfamiliar to me

>we might be a couple of low libido people talking about things other people do
Yeah, that's what I'm trying to get it
I was talking about this part of the question you asked
>are people expecting each other to be horny from the start?

My dick still gets erect from physical touch, but that's just basic biology
Even guys who get raped get erections

Can you reproduce on your own? No? Then you're not asexual. Stop misusing scientific terminology just say you're not interested in getting laid Jesus christ I'm tired of all the orwellian newspeak
>>

Asexual just means a lack of sexuality in humans, it's not ''newspeak'' you fucking retard. Asexual reproduction is something else entirely.
>>
>>84051530
Yeah. Misusing scientific terminology so you can feel like you're special.

It's not misusing scientific terminology. And I'm not OP, retard.

I hear people say things like "Asexuals are just ugly people who know they can't get a boyfriend/girlfriend." this is what normalfag cope looks like, they can't reconcile the existence of someone who spits upon everything they hold dear with their own value system so they conjure up some comforting narrative that allows these aberrant people to fall cleanly into their sex dominated worldview
