I don't approach at all because I'm only attracted to women aggressive enough to claim me as their pet yet gentle enough to do it with respect for my feelings, also I'm like 90% submissive which automatically disqualifies me to the vast majority of women, even then if they meet those two unreasonable criteria I expect her to have some common intreasts and hobbies we can do together, I cannot fathom how people can spend years with someone they have absolutely nothing in common with. I went 5 years of not bothering to find a gf (the previous 5 years I was in a relationship but it fell apart due to her having a glowup), basically the same thing happened with my hsgf. I met someone on a dating app recently though they live on the other side of the world. We send messages every day or too with longer conversations including voice chat once a week or so. I asked her to be my bf and she said yes. She can be very loving/caring but it feels very different from my irl relationships, probably because those 2 were insane. Shes religious so ive only tried light flirting which was taken well but idk, she doesnt seem like a hoe, she gives off more genuine tradwife vibes wanting to homestead and stuff. We have been talking about visiting irl sporadically, something she seems very interested in, so I just plain out said we need to start organising it.
Who knows what she will say. I dont want to waste my time pursuing a relationship doomed to fail. Shes pretty much a normie with a 4chanish sense of humour. Im conflicted, id rather have any chance of a proper romantic relationship blow up in flames than be in constant doubt that anything will come out of this. I dont even care if we are completely platonic friends.
