i spent the entire weekend trying to troubleshoot cachyos issues i keep[ giving mysewl f and still didnt accomplish much. and right at the end of the weekend i accidentally overwrote a .txt with all of my saved passwords on it and now i have to spend even more time troubleshooting to retrieve the file and apparently snapshot saves everything but my home folder. isnt that hilarious?!?!?! xDDDD what are the odds haha XD!!!! fucking kill me now. i was trying to pay my rent before the day ends (in 17 minutes) if i dont pay in that timeframe i get charged extra for not paying on the 1st and now im going to get charged extra because my password to the account was on that .txt file and i just lost it LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please ignore and hide my complain thread. i just had to type it somewhere, sorry!

I had issues with mintOS of all things, turns out the GPU was too old and unsupported by the new drivers, not only that, but the old drivers were unsupported by the new kernel. So I ended up reverting back to an older kernel, installing the older drivers and then finally everything seems to work.

you can absolutely do that with cron for yourself if you want it but it makes no sense to have such an insane default, a 1TB disk would be reduced to 500gb(1 per week), or 142gb(1 per day) of actually usable space, and it will massively degrade overall disk health
