I am Korean, and we think the difficulty of SAT, especially math, is too easy. Do Americans think this, too?

how hard does a test that solely exists for college admittance purposes need to be? it just needs to be good enough to filter out retards, after a certain point your scores on a test aren't going to indicate your academic or professional success, you could get a better measure of that by doing an in-person interview and seeing if the applicant is socially functional and mentally sound

any one question isn't really meant to be difficult
the difficulty is supposed to be the time limits, some people don't finish or make mistakes
idk if its comparable to any korean standardized tests
some colleges have score minimums for admission and scholarships
but a high score on the test on its own won't do much

Yes, the math SAT is more like “do you have a pulse”. If you are trying to show off your mathematical process you take the SAT II in math. Even then, I found it trivial desu, but it’s a level up.
