Physics is such a meme major in college, and in high school before that, they are so weak in maths and philosophical thinking, like really too weak and have almost no high level abstraction, how would such people put reality into a maths framework? there is a huge gap and people with surface level knoledge in many fields in maths cannot translate a thought into a formal axiomatic framework and conclude a clean theory

The problem with physics is that they've run into the limit of observability. They can theorize about what goes on beyond that all they want, but they'll never be able to prove or disprove any of it.

Implying that one of the infinitely many possible but unprovable theories isnt best suited for human understanding (or whatever maxim you choose)

Percy Bridgman wrote a book about the logic of physics. He addresses many shortcomings of current physics that would probably result in a "clean theory" if they were fixed.

A clean theory is impossible because there are unresolvable contradictions at the bottom of everything, of existence itself...

prove that mathematics can even describe the inner workings of physics

A clean theory already exists to be fair, it's called the principle of least action. Every physical law can be derived by finding a proper functional and the conditions under which the first variation vanishes.

It used to be that physics and math were hand in hand. But certain (((people))) like Feynman spread the idea that math is a spook, while certain other (((people))) like Witten push their amateur math as undeniable physical truth.
