The 2 new teams win their first games. This season could actually be ridiculously competitive instead of previous seasons where no matter how hard they tried the firefighters and tailgaters couldn't get out of single digit win totals and acted as basically the Generals to the established teams.
We'll see how this goes.

They’re made up of a lot of young guys out of college. I think that they’re starting to attract guys who would have been in low A and high A right now. They should start being an attractive option for guys who are playing in foreign leagues or stuck in AA-AAA hell as the pay for players is 100k/yr now. And it appears for all intents and purposes that the coconuts manager is actually coaching the game rules for maximum effectiveness. They’ve been consistently stealing first base on passed balls and ready to run on a ball 3 count when they believe that a ball 4 is coming.

I think it helps, it attracts too many temporary fans and repeals natural sport fans who see the 1-2 innings full of things that make the rest of the game look predetermined and dismiss it as a fake sport.

If they could get rid of that element and let the players play to their best ability and I foresee it eventually taking over the farm system as players get paid a livable wage instead of playing poverty ball for mlb’s development system.

I imagine that more male fans and people who actually love sports will take over the current audience of fags, women, and theatre kids. This is like an attempt to make an alternative rules reform similar to indoor soccer, arena football, and indoor lacrosse. Baseball has long needed radical reforms as its rules lend to too many terrible games that are more than forgettable. The rules of bananaball when played competitively could end bad games early and keep more games close. Their experiments need some competition and I think they’d drop the gay bullshit if someone were to realize that the sport is greater than attention seeking antics.

Maybe not so extreme to say the farm system but it'll likely take over if not already take over the independent leagues. The other thing about it being more competitive is that it opens up for more players wanting to get into it starting from a young age. Now there's so many kids out there who know about and love bananaball that they could very well be bananaballers themselves in the future. The potential is big now.

Very much so, if you’ve seen how empty that minor league stadiums are, you’d more than understand why they would abandon the affiliation if they could be part of a bananaball league. The minor league business model has been heavily fucked with lately and I think that if Mr. Cole was able and willing to be lifetime dictator of his league and allow other owners to join in that he’d easily be running a 16-32 team empire in no time.

I think pitchers would develop more than any position because the rules favors excellent command and punishes walks and wild pitches a lot more than normal baseball.

Plate discipline is also heavily favored in bananaball. If they’d allow bunting it would be a small ball paradise. There’s a ton of potential if they ever went into a full time competitive environment and quit trying to out fag San Francisco.
