If it takes more than 10 seconds for a substituted player to leave the pitch, the ingoing player has to wait one minute. If a player goes down and takes more than 15 seconds to get back up and into play, he has to take a one minute break on the sidelines. Excepts for head-collisions are more obvious injuries. MLS adopted this roles in 2024 and it has been so transformative for the flow of the game, these rules play be adopted universally.

Broadcasts often last +2hrs with as little as 40' of play (Arsenal in the CL this season). Stopclock would give you 60' of play. Most time is wasted during throw-ins and by the goalies.
