Honestly one of the funniest choke jobs I've ever seen. Dude was on cruise control and had the tournament in the bag. Then got wobbly knees and hit two water balls. And they weren't even close, just flat out slices like a weekend hacker. What pisses me off about Shane the most is that he's a known choker, but absolute nails in the Ryder Cup for some fuckodd reason.

Please. TGL is fucking awful and every golf fan knows it. The only reason it has any popularity is because it has fuckhuge money backing and is being shoved down everyone's throat. In a way, it's like a gayer version of LIV.
And the reason is simple. Golf appeals to the comfy watchers and sickos who enjoy watching other men crumble under pressure. Real tournaments on real courses provide beautiful visuals and sounds and it's relaxing, and back nine Sunday pressure gives us chokes like Shane today. TGL is played in a warehouse and has no comfy factor, and none of the dudes give a shit enough to feel nerves. They're there to get paid. So yea, it's a gayer version of LIV. Real golf remains undefeated.

Just to add to this. Last week Jacob Bridgeman was on rails for like 68 holes. He was playing great and comfortable with fhuge tournament pressure. Even going into the final round he was relaxed and and comfy. Then around 15 on Sunday he started weak arming putts and got the look of a deer in headlights. He was all over the place those last 3 holes, and need a 2-putt on 18 to win...and left it like 6 feet short. When he sank it to win he was in disbelief. He said he never expected the pressure he felt, and over the last 3 holes he couldn't even feel his hands.
There is nothing fake golf like LIV and TGL can do that will ever replicate that feeling in a golfer.

Bridgeman put himself on my eternal shitlist (at least until I forget he exists) watching the final few holes where he aerated & patted down his entire line, taking about 4 hours between putts
Also, that TGL "overtime" was lame as fuck, just a chip contest. At least do a drive/chip/putt and assign one of your 3 players to each slot

That was at Pebble Beach the week before his win, and honestly it's fair to hate on him for it. But he's relatively knew on tour and that was a massive money tournament. Every stroke can be hundreds of thousands, maybe millions depending on your position. And the wind was out of control with the green speeds that day and his ball was oscillating.
