Will we ever get a dominate American Heavyweight again? Or did what happened to Ali ruin boxing for big guys in the US?

People seeing one most charismatic fast talking boxing mumbling and shaking from pugilistic parkinson’s killed boxing in the US. Partners rather have their kids play basketball or football even though football is just as bad

Obrigado Brasil
but seriously it’s weird how long we’ve gone without a true heavyweight star
and I don’t think it has anything to do with a MMA/Boxing split either, it’s just weird that it seems kinda dead here, especially considering the pay scale difference between MMA (UFC) and Boxing, at least at the highest level

They'll make a million excuses why we don't have one but he truth is when the USSR ended Eastern Euro boxers were now allowed to turn pro instead of stay in the amateurs and they were allowed to leave and make money over here.
