>Caroline’s growth is inseparable from the extraordinary commitment of her family. Her father, Davin Chor – who holds three degrees from Harvard (PhD, AM & AB) and is a professor at the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business – and her mother, Mary-Ann Tan, a Montessori preschool teacher, have been unwavering supporters not only of Caroline, but of Ford Sayre as a whole.
>Caroline and her family are citizens of Singapore – a Asian country about half the size of Rhode Island and just 85 miles from the equator, making her rise as a winter athlete especially remarkable.

Nice, found a way, I was fucking ip-range banned due to some /pol/ abuse but I don't even post there
>>

>>153713670
NTA but I've been hit with both: the first problem (range ban) sorted itself out after a while and only affected Firefox on my desktop, the "unblock shit" thing went away too after I used another browser for a while. Now back on Firefox.

I'm using Firefox on Linux and haven't had any of these problems.
>>
>>153713692
>>153713693
Hope it sorts itself out then, using Edge isn't making anyone happy.
Even tried disabling literally anything, including ublock, that could be blocking any sort of trackers or fingerprinters in Firefox to no Avail. Even checking the dev tools to see spur.us and mcl.io not being blocked. Strange stuff.

>Back in 2016, Brave promised to remove banner ads from websites and replace them with their own, basically trying to extract money directly from websites without the consent of their owners
>In the same year, CEO Brendan Eich added a fringe, pay-to-win Wikipedia clone into the default search engine list.
>In 2018, Tom Scott and other creators noticed Brave was soliciting donations in their names without their knowledge or consent.
>In 2020, Brave got caught injecting URLs with affiliate codes when users tried browsing to various websites.
>Also in 2020, they silently started injecting ads into their home page backgrounds, pocketing the revenue. There was a lot of pushback: "the sponsored backgrounds give a bad first impression."
>In 2021, Brave's TOR window was found leaking DNS queries.
>In 2022, Brave floated the idea of further discouraging users from disabling sponsored messages.
>In 2023, Brave got caught installing a paid VPN service on users' computers without their consent.
>Also in 2023, Brave got caught scraping and reselling people's data with their custom web crawler, which was designed specifically not to announce itself to website owners.
>In 2024, Brave gave up on providing advanced fingerprint protection, citing flawed statistics (people who would enable the protection would likely disable Brave telemetry).
>In 2025, Brave staff publish an article endorsing PrivacyTests and say they "work with legitimate testing sites" like them. This article fails to disclose PrivacyTests is run by a Brave Senior Architect.
Make your own choice, but you're pretty fucking stupid if you keep on going back to pet the dog that bites.

Not to turn this place into /g/, but I thought I had it ruled out since posting did work on a different browser on the same machine and both of the URL's resolved fine when doing "dig spur.us mcl.io". With those things seemingly ruled out, it all pointed to it being a browser issue.
