Can we stop pretending that Remco is some super elite talent? Yes, he's good. Very good. But he cannot compete in the big one day races is Pogi or MVDP is racing and he cannot hang in the big stage races if Pogi and Ving are racing
Remco is basically the best of the rest. He'll be remembered as an excellent time trialist and a good overall rider but not one of the greats

Is there some trick to watching replays of TIZ? The Flanders upload for the femme just shows has sound but there is no video for me. Is it because they are still uploading or something?
>>
>>154128036
It usually takes them a few days or even weeks to properly upload races.
>>
>>154128101
aight I'll just wait a week and not come here in the meantime to avoid spoilers. Such is life.
>>
>>154127020
There is evidence of Remco being playful with Jonas also. But Remco is only playful when he is happy with his result and not seething and raging furiously, which is rare, especially when he's racing against Jonas.
>>
>>154128036
Use the second mirror (which is just a HTTP download).
>>
>>154128036
>>154128244
Oh, and the video is encoded as H.265/HEVC, not H.264/AVC like the livestream, maybe that's your problem? But should work if you download it through the second mirror and play it back through VLC or mpv or some other media player that's not shit.
>>
>>154127539
his teams ruined his carrier by making him ride stage races

>>154128244

>>
>>154128189
I was looking for a clip from the last stage of the tour 24. I'm quite sure I remember a half crying Remco giving Jonas a tight hug.

For sure with the results, but I bet Jonas' dad energy triggers the perpetual child Remco.

>>154126018
Where has VAN BAARLE been hanging out btw? Wasn't he the man for the spring season for quickstep?
>>

>>
>>154128297
dowloading it and playing in VLC works! But whats the motivation behind uploading it in a codec that browsers dont even support or for which you need an encoder for your system? Does it play in the browser for you?
>>
Third time that Pogacar wins RVV in the exact same way and that MVDP loses in the exact same way. He should reconsider his tactics at some point
>>
>>154128543
Most likely to reduce costs for storage and transfer. HEVC is more efficient, thus it doesn't look that shit despite bitrate being significantly lower than the livestream.
And yes, it works for me, browsers should actually support HEVC nowadays. But I think it needs to be supported in hardware by your device or something? And even then, there can probably be other issues, like drivers or whatever.
>>
>>154127101
A good post. You won't see Jonas dying his hair blonde to emulate a retarded rapper, doing gay quirky dances at every opportunity or even becoming a muslim to appease a nafri bint and her friends. Pumping himself full of chemicals and getting to 3% body fat to gain generational wealth for his family however? True family man.
>>
Urska cheeks getting clapped by a noble buck right now. Tadej got him imported from Sierra Leone on a cheap.
>>
>>154128605
And what tactic would that be? I feel like people are confusing "increasing your chances of winning" and "making it as hard as possible on pogi".
>>
>>154130820
Not pulling at all for Pogi. They have to stop pulling for Pogi. If it means the guys that got dropped catch them then so be it. MVDP is still gonna be the favorite for a reduced group sprint.
>>
>>154131240

>He should reconsider his tactics at some point
should've refused to pull with with Pog and let Remco come back. Then Remco should've refused to pull and allow Wout to come back.
>>
>>154131240
>They have to stop pulling for Pogi.
We need to start shaming riders for pulling for Pog
>>
>>154128605
I think the problem is people who can stay on Pog's wheel during his attacks are riders that never had to retort to rat tactics in their entire career. it just against their whole style of riding. the only exception is Jonas. he learn his lesson the hard way and it's a bit different for GC.
>>
>>154131773
I think rat tactic works if you have a teamate behind. If you're the only one dying to follow pog and then nicely wait behind for the other to come back you're just praying to get beaten by mads in the sprint.
Pidcock did it perfectly in MSR, pull a bit but way less than pog and then hope you can beat him in the sprint. Would have actually won if he started on the right side of pog's wheel in the sprint
>>
>Adrie van der Poel in today's L'Equipe: "This is not an amateur race! You must pull for the victory, no playing games. You don't do that between champions. If they start doing that, I'll stop watching cycling."

>>
>>154131833
Sure it works, but you still have to be able to catch Pog in the end. I think the Amstel Gold Race formula from last year is the "best" strategy against him. Let him go the moment he attacks and stay with the peloton. Then the other favourites attack later and work with each other. That way you maximize the work Pog does while still putting pressure on him by having a chasing group of elite riders. It's not full-proof, but nothing is.
>>
>>
>>154132291
Now this could work I agree (also insanely hard to put in place). But once you break the kwaremont KOM to follow pogi waiting for people to come back is suicide.

>>
>>154132613
Good deal. You don't really need to update the wheels btw
>>
>>154132613
yup, it's a good price. one should go with aluminium and endurance geometry as first road bike anyway. the disc brakes should be good to go (aka starting to squeak) early, so you might want to look up how to adjust those.
wheels are what they are and can be upgraded down the road, so keep an eye open for summer or winter sales if you don't want to go direct-to-consumer from china.

Retarded spastic. Most people excluding thirdies who punch up, will be most attracted to those genetically similar to them. She has very north england, yorkshire genes. As soon as poogacar falls off the wagon and becomes shit, the arabs will lose interest and the team will collapse.

Urska the vampire and a super villain as an entourage. When Sexias wins the tour he'll have his parents, siblings and the family hamster. Big powergap.

Hated him since I saw him on the netflix documentary.

>pidcock describes an ambitious exciting plan
>"sure tom whatever, do what you like I guess"

And then I'm pretty certain he went on to win the stage or following stage against Froome, with the most exciting descent in many years. I'm guessing Jayco fired him too. Thomas seems to have a similar attitude. Really hate it, athletes need inspiration and their coaching staff almost need to put on a performance for them because they're fragile people in general. My coach was a dull like Coomings, I hated his attitude in truth. Zero inspiration.

they are always inconsistent. only the slovenian is reliable. but usually they have enough good riders that they are not all shit at the same time. this is 3 embarrassments in a row after PN and Catalunya

Moreau won Dauphine GC on 2007-06-17, the last WT GC win by a French runner. Seixas was born 2006-09-24. Thus Seixas was less than one tear old when a Fremch runner last won a WT GC.

I find defiling his name super disrespectful actually. It's a deeply unfortunate name, I get it. I'd prefer his name was Paul Laurent or something too. But the king in waiting deserves more that these cheap jokes.
>>
I wish Pro cycling was like crusader kings where you can force people to marry. I'd have Paul Sexias marry Cat Furguson. Their children would have athletic trait buffs, excellent life style traits and beauty traits. Likely personality traits would be brave, ambitious and lustful consider Cat is a horny little minx. They'd make for useful courtiers for their breeding potential, though I doubt their abilities as rulers. I saw a character that looked like Cat today, my sons wife but she had the gluttenous personality trait and got fat by 30 so her character became ugly and fat. Hate that trait so much.
