i'm already like 20 commissions in deep with the artist, so it's a little late for me to crash out at him. that said, i do like the ship from a generalist standpoint, i just think it's too well-made for skaven specifically. but perhaps skryre got their act together with quality control by the time they got to the stars and had to worry about life support systems or gellar fields crashing out.

I think my absolute favourite "Skaven in Space" miniatures that I've seen is Mortian's Cyberrats line, they all look fantastic. They're clearly evoking the Skaven cobbled-together aesthetic but the blank, almost brutalist cybernetics give them their own distinct identity that makes them feel like their own thing instead of a straight transfer of the original idea into a sci-fi setting.
