I'm thinking about making a CYOA focused about going to a Superhero Academy that pumps out sidekicks that eventuslly turn into their own Heroes. Any thoughts, comments, ideas?

You bsically attend the Hogwarts of Superhero Schools and go in with a career in mind to become the Hero you want (villainy optional through delinquency/secret club) to be and model your school life around the school.

More capeshit is always welcome. Remember that the most important part of these cyoas is always the power section. People will like the CYOA no matter what if they like the powers they can choose from. CYOAs like tankista's worm, harbinger, or power creator all do this well (in different ways).

If the point of the cyoa is to make a cool academy setting, try to make the powers reflect that. Off the top of my head you could have people pre-select powers or upgrades that they can gradually unlock during their time at school, or maybe the powers start out strong and everyone has rule-of-cool action hero skills they learn at school to help them apply them better. It depends on what kind of setting you want to make.

Seems about right, very potent abilities, a spell that adapts to the environment, conceptual level invisibility that allows one to appear like they belong and anti-magic that empowers the user pretty damn good. You can probably tailor a lot of spells by modifying the environment around you, overall seems pretty damn great with great potential to empower itself trough building magic infrastructure.

Idea is to be super duper charismatic so I can easily manipulate people into binding pacts (and while the eye doesn't work on them it will also help with making deals with spirits). Alternatively I can just kill them with Transmigration or my Companions and bind them that way. Since I have Limitless Meridians and Signature Technique I can use their techniques much more effectively, and I have access to a bunch of learnable techniques through my Sect, the Institute and my Companions.

(Probably, don’t quote me on this) final update, taking an ambivalent alteration so I can get Signature Technique for the Eye. The reduced costs of the technique should essentially cancel out the aura loss, and there’s nothing stopping me from just quitting my job as a shopkeeper or having a trapped soul do the job for me. Also there’s a bunch of other minor updates.

i think that discussion was about the difference between body aging and soul aging, but even if that were a problem you'd just take one of the methods of having an egeless soul on top, like perennial lotus, and you'd be fine

incidentally, perennial lotus works fine with sokusneedbutsu, you just spend 1 aura and then regenerate it normally while still holding the stance

Why does invincible sokushinbutsu stance have "Postur of impremanence immutation." as its phrase anyway? Isn't immutation a poor fit for that sentiment? It just means mutation. Kind of like flammable and inflammable meaning the same thing.
