This seemed rather serious. Apparently, a student was independently tapping into leylines, a fact unknown to the faculty. This was no longer a simple rule infraction; it constituted both a potential security breach and a danger to the entire town. In any other circumstance, he would have had to arrest that student for recklessly tampering with the magical font upon which the entire town was built. However, he knew this might be the only way to hunt down a lycanthrope, lift the town's lockdown, and allow people to finally return to their normal lives. He ordered her to show him the location, trying not to dwell on how she had managed to accomplish all of this without any assistance.

Meanwhile, one of the main gate's guards rushed toward the town hall. Upon arrival, he immediately reported to the Lord Magistrate a recent discovery that was both disturbing and ominous.

I've posted him before, but my very first RPG character back in 3.5 was a little kobold bard/rogue who was obnoxiously chaotic neutral to the point I had a Yes/No die to roll to see if I'd help the party out or go check out that shiny thing I just spotted in the corner over there.
I had a whopping 6 Str (kobolds got -4 at the time), but a nice 18 Dex (+2 from racial) and a hardy 9 Con (racial -2). If I remember right, the rest of the array was 11 Int, 12 Wis, and 17 Cha. The DM had us do a 2D6+6 roll. So we always got a free 6, but no extra d6 to drop the lowest.
But the free +1 to armor and +1 to attacking larger creature was always nice.

But he was a fun little shit to play. After the campaign fizzled out after just a handful of sessions (like 5 or 6) I've kept him in my back pocket to bring out and play in other games and systems.

Being ordered, Celia hesitated for a moment. She had expected a reaction but being commanded clarified how risky this spur of the moment decision was. Celia quietly gestures to follow and leads the captain to the nearby commons academy housing. As with most campus housing for low status individuals, the hallways were cramped and old. She made her way to the back of the building where Sunblaze was surprised to discover there's a stairway down to a basement level of even lower quality dormitory rooms. Lit only by magic, a sign along the wall states “No flames permitted” with rooms bereft of finished floors or windows.

She pauses for a moment as though waiting for a reaction before sighing sadly and continuing.

The bag usually has enough air in it for a medium sized creature to survive for 10 minutes, so the DM ruled that because I was so small, I could last 30 minutes.
They were sometimes pretty long timeouts. But also became threats. "Get your scaly ass back here or you're going in the bag again!"

Later that day, the Magistrate declared that once the bodies were identified and prepared, the town would organize an official funeral for the fallen, covering all financial expenses. He knew this was the least he, as the local governor, could do for both the fallen and their families.

I needed a classy but still very slaaneshii scholar to use as my Black Crusade character's lore-focused minon and after a few tries (as Sora had a problem with cenobite aesthetics that weren't straight up genderbent pinhead) I think i hit a pretty good mix of scholarly and subtle slaaneshii.

I did try that but the problem was that both Sora and Gemini hit the policy wall and refused when i tried describing her outfit in detail. Only way i could get them to spit out something was by using "inspired by cenobites from Hellraiser" instead.

Might remix it and remove the Lament Configurum though. My initial idea was to fluff it as a xenos artifact, as there is a xenos weapon in Ceromunda tabletop that is pretty much the Lament Configurum with the serial numbers filed off.

The CPU doesn't really matter, it's just RAM and GPU. 32GB RAM is doable, but you need a better GPU. Cheapeast viable option is probably a 3060 12GB, but that one's also quite old at this point, something like a 5060TI 16GB would be the cheapest current gen option.

You don't need to pay more than like 1k for a decent enough rig. Maybe 1.2k now that ram prices exploded. Sure it won't be bleeding edge but it'll be 90% as good, and more importantly, higher specs wouldn't really help you with genning ai art anyway. Maybe you'd gen a batch of 8 images in 1.5 minutes instead of 2 minutes or something. Who the fuck cares.

Computers are remarkably easy to build these days. Each component has its own socket or slot that corresponds to it, with little text written on the motherboard itself to tell you which spot is for what component. Modern CPUs don't even have pins that you could accidentally bend anymore. You kinda can't get it wrong, as long as you don't apply excessive thermal paste when attaching the heatsink.

There is one thing to be careful of, and that's to check the dimensions of the GPU relative to the internal size of the case you buy. There are a lot of compact or mid-size cases that can't fit the larger three-fan GPUs, and that can be a frustrating discovery, if you get most of the way through the build only to find that you need a bigger case and have to take everything apart again.

Man, I forgot how much fun generating random fantasy scenes in Bing can be. It doesn't offer nearly the graphical fidelity or level of control of newer models, but it's so much more inventive in the responses to prompts.
