See now that I understand Callismon better I've also understood why Paradise Colosseum was on the surface so underwhelming compared to the others.
The +2000 helps Grapleomon pop off, the Rush is for the Bearmon you play off it and if you have two Paradise Colosseum then you can activate Callismon on every turn by cycling them.

Release era, nume era, they were about the same in strength. bans and restrictions hit the honest deck harder than the toolbox. I played invisi vs galaxy recently and flipped an invisimon in the galaxy players security with altea and lost off it. i am still mad about that one. Still, its that engine is very fun to play just for doing something very different. I think the TS build has the tools to pretty easily power out a second one with the free-digivolving rookies, Hiroko/Asuna, and the built-in play cost reduction of Diana and Apollo. Even if you can't make it all the way back to Gracenova, Apollo plus the field Option can swing for a couple extra checks or Diana has a decent chance of freezing the opponent's board by herself.

but without the loop it can't put out so much press and its just a board control deck that can keep pushing out
it doesn't have much aggressive damage beyond 1 swing with alliance, two if you got the tamers setup and shit but you would need quite a bit of setup to pull that off
it basically takes 4 turns to kill now uninterrupted, so its quite a bit slower

if you really cared about the loop and its otk power, the deck is dead
if you want it for board control, always having shit in the back, and can accept its a chip damage deck then its fine. That does have a lot of disadvantages though in the current meta

Alliance swing, play Chitose to play Angemon, DNA to trash security is still a faster 3 security removal than most decks can do
Of course this is assuming you don't have the memory to go into TS Silphymon instead and do 4 checks

Pretty strong. While her cost reduction is live, the All Turns is guaranteed -9k and is almost always going to be at least 12k and triggers as soon as you play her, plus making at least 2 of your Digimon immune to Digimon effects. And the DP reduction lingers if you use it on your own turn.

The only nitpick is anti-synergy with Reboot, in particularly Minervamon, but that's fine.

I expected a adventure rehash and not something so original. original adventure had very deep characters and that is why alot of people liked it compared to weekly episodic pokeslop and colon sacrificed that to be an action show which it didnt always have the budget for. There were some really hype moments though. ogremon's 'HORN IS PRIDE' line stuck with me, the eagle/crossmon fight vs metalgrey was big hype, TK getting random alt evolutions and goddramon+magnadramon vs machinedramon all come to mind. I had very low expectations and i think thats part of why i enjoyed the show so much. i even like the opening theme more than butterfly
