So I remember when model kits used to be around 20-30 bucks for a figure since you have to do a lot of the work yourself. Why have they skyrocketed to the same as an assembled figure? That makes no sense.

Raw materials costs increasing continuously + everyone keeps making their kits complicated to following Bandai. Even Bandai started raising their price of their old kits a few years ago and so lots of stuff is now 20-30%more than it was 10 years ago.

It's comparable, but some tolerances are off. A couple of strange decisions, like both halves of the thighs being the front half of the original, and the knee bend can fully extend past the original due to the peg keeping the middle section from coming out being missing.

Still, very worth it if you can find it for $25-30.

Damn, was hoping to practice shortening the thighs with it. Explains why something looked so off but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Honestly, he has a pretty cool design and a very imposing stature, I certainly wouldn't pass up on a model kit of him. X6 has some great character designs, for all of its other flaws.
