>Beginning in 2027, action figures, playsets and accessories, vehicles, games, collectibles, role play and more are set to roll out across retailers. Through the agreement, Mattel will also produce new product lines for the animated movie sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 for 2027, and a new untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action/CG animation hybrid in 2028.

What does this mean for Neca?

I’m more curious about the licensed imports
>>
>>11706606
They have until 2027, so Joytoy better rush some things out.

Nothing. Neca has worked with Mattel tons in the past, and even around them when doing DC figures. Mattel's easy going.

licenses don't all expire at once, they'll all be able to keep making them until whatever they had previously already negotiated expires at least, after that things could change

Generally separate contacts from the domestic ones. Hasbro having the Marvel license doesnt stop Bandai or Medicom from making figures for the overseas markets.

Nacelle have Biker Mice from Mars, C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa and apparently now Barnyard Commandos too (stated in a recent toy fair interview)

No one fucking cares about what nacelle has

Someone asking "So Mattel basically has the monopoly on anthropomorphic hero teams now, yeah?" might. Don't be a moron.

I do. The main guy’s super passionate and committed to giving customers releases that are as complete possible (and he cracks me up). Also their product is getting better crazy fast. I’ll definitely be watching out for them acquiring a franchise I’m interested in.
