Kemopla also has another wolf, a gray furred one. There's a site exclusive version and then another version with minor differences to the face. Also extra arm and leg parts to further customize the look.

Though all of it's meant to be Japan only, so it's a bit tougher getting anything.
>>

GAWD DAMNIT, WHY DIDNT I JUST WAIT
>>

This one is almost twice the price of the mechanic one thanks to soft goods, so the buyer's remorse would be a lot worse if you ended up not liking it either.

>>11708513
I would say gundamit but its strange they dont have her yet
>>
PEE-O'd what a delicious assortment she comes with woofwoof feet, high heels, furry tail, and the nood body
>>
>>11708504
The good news is that she's designed to be able to swap parts with her previous version - the face you see in >>11708458, for example, is not actually included with this one (see the image below it for the five faces she comes with) and comes from the version of her you already own, meaning you're going to want both anyway for the full selection. You can also put the new one's tail on the old Liya, so you can actually pose her without needing a stand.
>>
>>11708572
You go in the >>/MeatGrinder/
>>
>>11708559
My guess is Gundamit is still figuring out the pricing for her as to why she's not up yet. Bombusbee has her up for 62.99 with a $10 deposit so probably something similar whenever Gundamit puts it up eventually
>>
>>11708475
The basic grey wolf and expansion parts are on hlj, just like last time.
>>
>>11708509
Plus she does come with a lot of really neat looking accessories.

Got a stupid-ass question, furanons:
Have there ever been any mass-produced action figures similar to your stereotypical sparkledog? (picrel)

Kinda wanna know for my next purchases.
>>
>>11708850
I'd say the mr beast anthro figures are about as close to sparkledog esthetics as you are going to get till helluva boss gets articulated figures.
>>
>>11708850
There was a dragon character that was kinda like that from...Roblox? It was a white and sky blue dragon, but the figures were that robolox style. I can't remember what it was from.
>>
>>11708457
wish she came with human feet
>>
>>11709439
Why would a fox have human feet?
>>
>>11709522
I guess the same could be asked about why she's bipedal, can talk, is wearing clothes. "Why would she have human feet" isnt so different to "why does she have human feet."
>>
>>11709522
>>11709529
Technically she has human feet with animal toes. Kind of a weird hybrid, like they couldn't decide between plantigrade and digitigrade designs. And I'm not convinced that these feet would fit into the narrow shoe style she has here, it would only work with human toes but not the ones she has on her bare feet, the mechanic version's boots were more accommodating for those large toes that she apparently has.
>>
>>11708456
How well do the wolves scale with Xesray's Hildr or Savage Crucible and ICONs?

Question. Recently got candy land Liya and right arm refuses stay pegged in at the bicep. Tried putting some tak in there and it helps a little but looking for some better solutions outside of glue. Anyone have the same issue or is it just mine?

Is this the first fully nakeable furry toy? Will there be fully nakeable scaly toys next?
>>11709439
I would have preferred the opposite actually, like having the heels be bigger or be some sort of open toed heel showing off her paws
>>
>>11708455
Hey gang, hate to rain on your parade but lusting over female anthropomorphized wolves is a bad idea. Canines have anal glands that produce one of the most putrid scents there is.
>>
>>11710494
>Is this the first fully nakeable furry toy?
If you're assuming that she's going to have lewd sculpt details, she won't. Nude furry figs with Barbie anatomy are nothing new (like Shion from Keyaki Hobby) and Festival Liya will be one of those. We're still far away from fully defined and uncensored furry nudity like what you'd find on Second Axe or Revoltech Queen's Blade figs, for now only some rare garage kits have that.
>>
>>11710530
>lusting over female anthropomorphized wolves is a bad idea.
Good thing she's a fox and not a wolf, then.
>Canines have anal glands that produce one of the most putrid scents there is.
...you know this from experience...?
>>
>>11710569
lol unfortunately yes. I've had dogs my entire life. Having a vet drain those things is par for course. Depending on the breed it needs to happen more than later.

Also, speaking of kemono model kits, does anyone know what became of Oraingen's chimera catgirl model kit? (see picrel)

Meanwhile Kemopla is supposedly being shipped out a few days from now...

Also the human parts set in a new skin tone. I think it's cool that you've got enough option parts to go from not furry really at all to completely and utterly furry. Too bad HLJ has been retarded with filling orders and shipping in a reasonable length of time lately, but none of my other regular shops were carrying her.
>>
>>11710569
Yes, I've had >>11710588 but also what I initially thought was an anal gland issue only to find out the poor dog had a bad skin infection all around the back end but her fur was so thick it wasn't apparent until it was really gross. The joys of pet ownership.
>>
>>11711346
Was she supposed to be a model kit? I thought they announced it as a complete figure. But yeah, there haven't been any updates since 2023, with all the quiet anthro toy project cancellations lately I wrote it off as one of them.

The official Kemopla website says everything's being shipped out locally in Japan on the 19th. Question is, will it be worth the price, or will it flop hard enough to force Aoshima to fall back on more salaryman-oriented kits?
I've already hit the point where I'm beginning to doubt all the hype after seeing it being advertised to high hell while begrudgingly knowing it won't be shipped to where I live at all.
Every last damn seller just told me there's no real room for them to sell it here so I'm frankly hitting a point where I've given up hope of ever getting one… curdling into a growing hatred for furs.
>>
>>11712455
If the nephews' heads and hats are swappable, that would be genius.
>>
>>11712831
Pretty much all three main sets, including optional parts stayed in hlj's preorder ranking for the entire month they were listed, so while it's only a small sample size, it's at least a good indicator that the line is going to be a moderate success.
At least for the initial two, while the grey wolf is also on hlj's list, she seems to be sitting at the number 3 spot, while cat and dog managed to climb to 1 and 2 and sit there for pretty much the whole month.
So it's fairly likely Aoshima will make more, the real question on their continued success is if they release new animal types or if they are just going to be lazy and release more stuff like the grey wolf, who's 99% identical to the dog.
>>
>>11712831
No room to sell it here?
>>
>>11712866
>the real question on their continued success is if they release new animal types or if they are just going to be lazy and release more stuff like the grey wolf
Well, there's a small bunny girl right on the homepage, so we can bank on getting her at the very least. They also showed a prototype for bat wings as an optional part, so while that's not a guarantee that we're getting a bat girl, it does mean that they're willing to experiment and are putting some effort into expanding the line.
>>
>>11713004
>small bunny girl
Relevant to my interests. I will look forward to the prototype.
>>
>>11711090
>>11711091
>53 dollars
Yeah no thank you.
>>11711346
I think they're sold just individually
>>
>>11713004
Huh, part of me wonders if they're even getting to do that since we have YET to see these two mascots that were part of the initial pitches.
(As well as the multiboob option parts in one of their early posterboard proposals.)

>>11712866
Fair point, the novelty must be what keeps them going... but for how long can novelty alone keep up that momentum before they axe the line?
>>
>>11713194
>how long can novelty alone keep up that momentum before they axe the line?
If it happens I'll just be happy with whatever kits we got by that time. Nothing else I've seen quite fits that niche so getting anything at all is a good thing.
>>
I saw GOAT last night and I loved it. It mogged on Zootopia 2 and it earned a place up there with The Bad Guys 2 for how much I enjoyed it. Of course though, as soon as I go to look up the action figures they're all sold out. Sadge.

If demand is outpacing production do you think we might see more collector-style action figures in the near future? The current ones look "good enough" although they're clearly made for kids with smaller size, lower MSRP and lower articulation. I would love to have a bigger Jett figure with more articulation. Might even consider splurging on 12" scale if someone like Hot Toys picks up the license.

Not at WalMart. Theres a full display of figures that aren't budging.

>>

>>

>It mogged on Zootopia 2
You've got pretty low standards if you think it even comes close to Zootopia 2. Your brain has to be the size of a pea.
>>
>>11713890
Goat had more animals than Zootopia 2 and had a better story and screenplay. It wasn't even the cliched "don't forget who your real friends are" rise to fame story that I thought it was going to be. The emotional highs and lows hit way harder than Zootopia 2 which was a paint-by-numbers sequel that loudly telegraphed its plot twists.

Obviously Zootopia 2 is not a bad movie or it wouldn't have made 2 billion dollars. It is, however, a wholly unambitious movie that is carried by the viewer's emotional connection to the first film. I had no expectations going into GOAT and I don't even care about sports, but it grabbed me in the way I wanted Zootopia 2 to grab me, all using characters I knew nothing about when it started. Pawbert and Gary were both total wastes of characters and I felt nothing for either of them other than disdain for how badly Pawbert's heel-turn was written and how much of a waste of air Gary was.

The key reason I knew that GOAT was better than Zootopia 2 is because as soon as the movie was over I wanted to call my friends and tell them what a great time I had watching it. With Zootopia 2, the first thing I did when I was out of the theater was think about how amateurish and unfinished the writing felt.
>>
>>11713903
>Goat had more animals than Zootopia 2
It didn't, and that's a stupid thing to be excited over.

>and had a better story and screenplay.
Oh! You're a simpleton. GOAT is a nothing movie. It is literally every cliche', every trope, every single sports movie rehashed. The characters are literally nothing. They are cut and paste redos from other movies.

>The emotional highs and lows hit way harder than Zootopia 2
Oh fuck off with that. Now I know you're full of shit.

>which was a paint-by-numbers sequel that loudly telegraphed its plot twists.
No, that was GOAT. Again, you're simpleton.

>however, a wholly unambitious movie that is carried by the viewer's emotional connection to the first film.
Wrong. The movie pushes the world and the characters further and makes people care about everyone on screen. The story is a great one and fun to watch play out. GOAT couldn't even do that.

>Pawbert and Gary were both total wastes of characters and I felt nothing for either of them other than disdain for how badly Pawbert's heel-turn was written and how much of a waste of air Gary was.
So you didn't understand the movie and you're lashing out thinking the characters aren't good because -you- have issues. Kay.

Sounds more like your homeschooled ass just didn't understand the movie. The writing is not amateurish or unfinished. Again, that is GOAT. Which couldn't even be arsed to give its main character any kind of character arc. It's a pitiful excuse for a movie that vomits up the same exact thing that's been done time and time again, and it sounds like you're only 12 and have never seen movies before, or you'd realize that.
>>
>>11713916
>It is literally every cliche', every trope, every single sports movie rehashed. The characters are literally nothing. They are cut and paste redos from other movies.

Funny, you just described Zooty Toot 2. It's so obvious that even the movie itself acknowledges it right before Pawbert betrayes them, which was extremely obvious because he was too nice for the whole movie and wouldn't have any kind of arc otherwise.

Gary has no arc at all. His arc is that he's designed to be pathetic and be pitied unconditionally, and then he gets what he wants in the end.
>>
>>11713925
Funny, I didn't describe Zootopia 2 at all. Only GOAT is a rehash that doesn't even attempt to push the story or characters beyond "here's the same slop you've already seen."

You're of course wrong about Pawbert, and even if you figured out who he was, he's a very well written and complex character.

Gary isn't even pathetic and isn't pitied by anyone. You can't even understand movies it seems. Must be why you got so starstruck by a movie that was dumber than you are.

So what are the odds of them showing finished versions soon? Also the odds of at least releasing this year. I mean so far we've got 3 after about a yearish and ones a recolor, new Liya variant is way later this year and Daisy will probably dropping in the next couple of months.
>>
>>11714146
Should be soon enough, at least for the mouse. The teaser for Spring Festival Liya showed what looked like her finalized hand, so she's probably done already. I suspect they're waiting for people to get the new Liya in-hand so they can gauge the reaction to their switch to soft goods clothes so they know whether to use the same on her skirt.
>>
>>11714193
>they're waiting for people to get the new Liya in-hand
Is she supposed to release soon?
>>
>>11714257
Not till late late in the year. Says Q4 but honestly but could be sooner if it already has shown in color and with all the goods
>>
Does anyone own the Bucky O Hare boss fight toys? Are they any good and do they scale well with anything else?
>>
>>11714284
Candyland Liya had a kinda fast turnaround, but it was a simple palette swap after all.
Wonder if Spring Liya release date could benefit in any way from being back compatible with OG version. Plenty of new parts, but it's not like it's some serious retool of an already familiar sculpt.
But it probably will also make sense to delay it closer to next CNY.

Argh, that baseless speculation just frustrated me lmao.

Honestly I kinda wish there were more vore-compatible figures out there. Not even talking about actually having a throat and stomach cavity as those would seriously limit articulation but just having a large enough opening mouth to fit toys in. I have her. She’s great for what she is. Granted I didn’t pay full price for her so I wasn’t expecting much. Her articulation is simplistic, think of the movie Sonic Jakks figures. She’s very thin and top heavy. I don’t know what her official height is so scaling would have to be in the eye of the beholder. She’s about 5inches tall with that big ass head of her. Her head movement is limited because of her hair. I’ll have to take her out of storage and play with her some more to fully assess how she properly moves. I do like her.

There's a bunch of JP dudes who already have their copies, and all I can think of is:

Man, what fantasy medieval figure accessories are compatible with them? I wanna know what I can put on without risk of tearing or looking awkwardly proportioned...

Also, do they have grabbing hands for holding accessories?

>we have YET to see these two mascots that were part of the initial pitches.
Is that not the brown wolf and white cat? The figures do not look as cute as the illustrations but I believe they're supposed to be based on the old illustrations and redesigned slightly to look more individual/OC-like.
>>
>>11713194
They've shown Luoran with outfit and all at events a few times, so I think we'll probably get her as a special kit like Rinka.
>>
>>11717336
The white cat is specifically Luoran, a preexisting character of the main artist for the line. And as I mention here: >>11717640 it looks like she probably will get a kit.
>>
>>11717648
As for the other one, I'm not sure. She only seems to have shown up once, and may indeed just be early art of Japanese Wolf. She looks a bit chunkier than the final version, that's for sure.

Cat human parts went in to mine, I assume the rest of the kits will be going in in the day.
>>
>>11717667
Looks good so far - I'm liking that extra bit of articulation in the upper torso with the extra segment under the boobs. Those upper thigh pegs look a little too short, though. Still, not bad - now I just need HJL to actually drop her and the cat into my Private Warehouse, given they already billed me for the human parts.

>>11714982
When can we expect a review of these? Stuff sometimes goes out to reviewers early. I like the price for what you get and I'm curious how they stack up to Revos. My only major complaint is lack of heads and hands.
>>
>>11718702
I'm with you, I'm waiting for reviews as well, even though I already pre-ordered them. I am currently collecting Nick and Judy figs already but I would like to know what I'm already jumping into. My big thing is how tall they are compared to my current collection >>11714659

Aliexpress started suggesting me gigantic 2000 dollar furry dragon blow up dolls and I'm assuming they have vaginas, skin whitener to make me not black and magnetic hospital bed restrains. I swear I have never looked up furry shit there in my life. Or....whatever the fucking else to make the other two things show up.
>>
>>11718881
Fucking hilarious. Also, now that you actually clicked the item to take that screenshot, you can fully expect them to be CONSTANTLY sending you suggestions like that from now on.
>>
>>11718813
I mean they're bigger than the Gong figures going by that figure, so they're almost hitting like, 10 inches or more.
>>
>>11717667
> no articulated ears
> pawpads need to be painted for mid-Kemo hands
> hi-Kemo wolf face proportioned awkwardly

…holy shit this is a rough start that's only saved by the buildup of hype. Goddamn, maybe I should just wait until they do more or hope some better company takes the concept and puts it to use… preferably in PVC.
>>
>>11718965
I didn't notice you had to paint the pawpads. That's upsetting.

Uh, what's the best kind of paint to use on these things? Or should you use an airbrush?
>>
>>11718813
Bbts listing says 5.5 inches which I assume is to the top of Nicks ears. Hopefully his ears are movable. I saw a video of a little promo vid showing them off. I'll see if I can find it. Was only like a minute long so nothing in depth, but still can get a sense of size.

That Dungeon Crawler Carl stuff looks like it'll have a couple interesting figurines.

>I'd rather just all participants in my porn to be hot.
Agreed, though I understand why they do it - the people who like to put fat ugly guys in their porn tend to be fat ugly guys themselves. It's self-inserting and wish fulfillment for the literal orcs who know they'd never have a chance with an attractive woman otherwise.
>>

You aren't looking very hard. Also these are pegwarming so hard... They'll be on clearance before long.
>>
>>11719564
Their articulation does look pretty good. Plus you get officer Nick which is a really nice plus. If they reissue the revos later I can always decide if I think they're worth it after getting these in hand. Anyone know if this company has ever done accessory packs? If they released one with extra heads I'd be all over it.

Definitely could use some dull coat.
>>
>>11720194
Seam lines and leftover bits from sprue look kinda rough. Definitely requires some extra hobbying skills and equipment to clean it up, or even painting skills to further enhance them.
But base design is so good, I feel dirty for complaining. Will shine even more with appropriate love and skills put into these kits.
>>
>>11720194
yeah absolutely
>>
>>11720194
>>11720205
They should have additionally included unpainted duplicates of the faces and decals with eye and mouth details. I thought the face details would be decals but they come already pre-applied on sprues, this discourages you from painting and customizing the whole kit in your preferred colors since there's no way to replicate those tampos by hand and once you remove them you can't go back and undo it in in case you change your mind on full repaint.
>>
>>11720194
I'm sorry man, these just don't look good.
>>
>>11711019

You misread. It said the peg wasn't long ENOUGH because it wasn't properly pushed in enough through another joint. You making the peg shorter probably made it even worse.

>>11708475
Apparently they're supposed to be compatible with Megami Device kits? I'm not familiar with either so I'm wondering how much fiddling is gonna be required for any kitbashing.
>>
>>11723428
Megan Device kits are designed to come apart and partswap. The arms, legs, heads, faceplates, and fo on all detach easily and tend to have universal connection points, so if the Kemopla kits are being made to be compatible with them, kitbashing will be effortless. Head over to the Busou Shinki and Friends general and ask around if you want pics of what the connector pieces look like - it'll give you a better idea of what kind of combinations will be possible.
>>
>>11723479
Oh sweet, I wasn't really sure how cross compatible their sets are supposed to be. Just didn't wanna end up buying an extra kit I couldn't really use, not in the way I'd want at least.
>>
>>11723484
To give you a general idea, here's the Grey Wolf with a Megami Device "Chassis" kit (new, blank bodies with no armor. Yes, the kits include both the detailed suit and the nude body in the same box). Everything circled in pink is connected with pegs and is designed to detach and swap around without any need to disassemble either kit (I also included the face plates here, which SHOULD fit as well). The green circles are joints - if the Kemopla use the same shoulder and hip assembly as Megami Device, you should be able to pop the entire arms off at the balljoint and slide the thighs off of the little armatures in the hips to change those around, too. The red is the central torso connector, which I THINK you can pop off to swap with the Kemopla kit, too - usually you can do this with MDs to swap around their busts/chest armor, and while the Kemopla kit has an extra joint here (and is lacking the waist joint that's on an MD), I suspect you should be able to do the same at least with the uppermost half.
The entire head (maybe not the neck) should be swappable as well, and all MDs have a hole in their lower back where you should be able to attach the tail.
Overall, while I was using the "blank" Megami Device body for comparison here, you should be able to swap actual armored limbs and weapons from standard MD releases like the Durgas, Buster Dolls, Puni Mofus, Asras, and so on, and possibly have some compatibility with Arcanadea and Sousai Shoujo Tienen/Megalomaria kits as well, since they all use a lot of the same engineering.
>>
>>11723511
Thanks for going into detail, it does help quite a bit. Definitely gives me a better idea of what I'm dealing with at least. It looked like the official kemopla twitter posted some kitbashing but they only swapped out the pegs on the arms/legs. Not entirely sure if the ball joints would be a perfect fit, I'm hoping they are.
