Should I have waited for the inevitable Blue retrain of the new Vegeta? Probably.

Was actually kind of surprised he wasn't JUST a blue-haired version of the regular 2.0-vegeta, but it's the tiny things that make it very mildly better, in my opinion.
I prefer the head-sculpt and the faces on this guy, for one. Also the shorter neck mildly fixes the issue of him being too tall.
Also I could just be gaslighting myself but I swear he has slightly better ankle range than the super saiyan version.

I think the main point of the person you're replying to is that the vote based reissues have no relation to what they plan on doing. They won't know what wins and they simply reissue what does. They already planned for a new Blue Vegeta and the old one just so happened to win the vote so they released it again. Broly and Cooler won the last reissue vote so they reissue them. Eh it can be a fun experience if you go with the right people. I waited in line for the Halo 3 midnight launch back in college with my bros and it's still one of my all time most cherished memories. Also waited six hours in line at a con to get my Amazing Spider Man #1 signed by Stan Lee. I don't really agree with that, but get what you are saying. For better or worse, specifically for the collecting hobby, I have always viewed the process around getting the toys as much a part of the hobby as the collecting itself.
