These look so stupid. I love it

Reposting from last thread, but new Monsterarts GodzillaxEvangelion announced.
>>
>>11719440
Wait a minute that's Monsterarts? I didn't even realize and thought it was just a statue, holy fuck.
>>
>>11719498
Yep.
>>
>>11719351
This is a fun concept.

>>11719440

Thus looks stupid as hell

My Hiya Millenium Goji has a floppy torso joint and a right hand that constantly pops off, but other than that, it's pretty good
>>11719440
>>11719507
Out of the three Eva cross over designs they decided to go with the worst
>>
>>11719842
Yeah mine has a pretty loose right leg, and the hands do like to pop-off a little too easy. Though to be fair he's just gonna be in one pose on a shelf, but still a bummer.
>>
>>11719842
Could be worse
>>
>>
>>11719842
Why didn't they paint the spines?
>>
>>11719909
It seems like loose joints are a widespread problem for this figure. I don't have their 91 Goji so I don't know if that was an issue with him, but other than the hand popping off on their G14 figure, I haven't had any real issues with looseness in their Monsterverse Godzillas.
>>11719937
I prefer that freaky cat thing over the bland Unit 01 with a tail and Godzilla spines. Neither are very good, but at least the Unit 02 looks interesting.
>>11720841
I need SHMA to release Megalon.
>>11720851
what do you mean? They are painted. They're the wrong color, but they are painted. The paint on the tail spikes cuts off at about the same point as it did on the suit.
>>
I just ordered the HIYA Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, both the mecha and the 'zilla since I know they'd go together.
Don't own any 'zillas currently so hope they're good. I should have really asked for advice but impulse purchased because of how cool the Mechagodzilla looked.
>>
>>11719415
same.
came here to hate and then realized i love all of them. i don't even need the clip on accessories, i'm just excited to have funky colored plastic monsters
>>
>>11720939
I'm sorry to inform you, but the Hiya KiryuGoji looks like ass.

Building accessory to come with Titanic's Reptilicus

Neat, I really like the European-style buildings.
>>
Hiya GMK or 2000?
>>
>>11721608
They're entirely different designs, you can't pick a favorite between two completely different Godzillas?

I like both, I was just wondering how people who own one or both felt.

I do prefer GMK's design tho
>>
>>11721608
'99 is objectively better, even with the dorsal plates being inaccurate. GMK has a mismatching finish on the feet and tail, an overly heavy brown wash on the body and a terrible headsculpt.
>>
>>11721250
>Hiya KiryuGoji looks like ass.
The Kiryu and Goji or just one of them? This guy looks okay to me.

Why did they neglect to paint around the eyes of tigrex? It comes like the bottom pic. And the tip pic is after I fixed it

Another threezero goji review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-Z-rH8EFlI They uses silicon instead of rubber so it should hold up. The tail also has joints inside. Thought it was bandy or something. Articulation seems pretty good all around. Wonder if we'll get a Mecha G to go with him. Closet thing to his scale is the Dx Chogokin. Which is way over priced.
>>
>>11722437
Instead of buying expensive collectables ya might want to fix your roof and ceiling
>>
>>11722340
They neglected much more than that. It has almost zero washes and very little shading. The stripes are also not blended at all, they look very flat and cartoony (Rajang has the same problem).
>>
>>11722091
I meant the KiryuGoji suit

So um got the Marusan silver 1989 Godzilla today, and for some reason came with the Bandai MMS Statue Shin Godzilla with it even though it was never mentioned in the original listing. Funnily enough, I was gonna prob get that figure at some point and it just kind of got packaged with this for free I guess lol?

not accurate or don't like the head or?

Wait a minute, I heard HIya Shimo was too small and the Monsterarts was accurate sized but base on outdated design materials. Was that wrong? They look to be about the same size

They are basically the same size, and that's the problem. The Hiya is in a larger scale than the SHMA. That's "mostly" fine when you put her with since the Hiya Evolved Godzilla since it's also too small, but it's not good when you pose her with the Hiya Kong or the upcoming Hiya Skar King. The Hiya Shimo is fine if you are posing her with SHMA figures, but not with most figures from her own line.
>>
>>11723039
It's both. The body isnt accurate and the head sculpt is ass.
>>11723367
The Hiya line is supposed to be 7-inch scale. It being slightly smaller than a 6-inch scale version of the same figure is bad.
>>
Forgot to post I finally got my light up version. Got him for free. Still trying to sell my non light up version. Was able to sell my other extra one on ebay.
>>
>>11724384
You again? Clean your shelves before taking pictures of your figures, man, you've gotten enough banter already. That Sony thing looks dirty as fuck. Cool figure btw

fuck off

That head sculpt is terrible.
>>
>>11726460
Bandai should give up already.
>>
>>11726477
Sakai really struggles with Showa suits aside from MosuGoji, it seems.
>>
>>11726488
Lmao no he didn't. The shape of the eyes is wrong and the teeth are so oversized he can't close his mouth fully like the suit.
>>
>>11726460
>13,200 yen
What the actual fuck? Inflation has not gone up enough in Japan to justify this by being 2,000 yen more expensive than Godzilla 72.
>>11726469
>>11726480
Insane that I can shit on this figure without resorting to making shit up about it.
>>
These kikes will literally use this as a promo image but include no beam effect, just a pair of fist hands.
>>
>>11726613
>>11726460
I was going to complain about it being more expensove than the 72 figure, but it's spines are on ball joints so i guess that's fair.
>>
>>11726613
I will never understand the raw lust for beam effects. I have a drawer of them and they never see the light of day. Do they sell well on their own?
Give me hands, heads, props, vehicles, buildings, anything but a god damn beam.
>>
>>11726641
>The fins are jointed
Wh-why...?
>>
>>11726694
In the showa, those fins are flying everywhere.
>>
>>11726655
I'd like a beam at least for every era and Showa hasn't gotten a beam since 2018 with Godzilla 62, so it would be nice to get one. That being said, in general, I agree, alternate hands like the ones that 74 is coming with, buildings, or even an alternate head like 72 came with are preferred to beam recycling.

>>11726694
so that you can move them around when you're posing him. His spines in the movie jostled around a lot, so they decided to replicate it in the figure. The 72 has one spine on a weird hinge joint that can move forward and back, but I guess Sakai or whoever does the articulation decided that wasn't enough, and that the main spines needed to all be on ball joints.
