No you didn't. Amiami only sends the payment request on shipment.
>>
I voted for this. Grow up /toy/
>>
>>11722319
you don’t even have a real country ken.
>>
>>11722324
I'm not the OP image but I am OP. They haven't shipped my order out yet and now they won't.
>>
Hobby Genki holding too. Probably everyone going to hold. I thought there might be a silver lining which is the duty would now only be 10% instead of the 15% it was before but would not be surprised if when we come out on the other side of this prices will be even MORE expensive than they already were. Genuinely hate this pedo clown so much.
>>
Didn't we already have tariffs?
>>
>>11722350
Yes. And now we have tariffs+
>>
>>11722347
Even if the tariffs get cheaper, DHL and other shipping companies will still likely find a way to jack their prices like they have done at literally every opportunity since CoVid.
>>
>>11722313
This happened last time..it sucks but calm down they'll hammer it out soon enough and you'll be able to get your stuff.
>>
>>11722350
Welcome to where a mean old pedo gets told he can't legally do something, then throws a tamper tantrum and takes it out on the American people by fucking them over even more.
>>
>>11722324
>>11722336
Yeah it's not getting shipped. I sent them a ticket asking for refund. I want my money back. AND the worst part was it was going to be shipped 2-3 months delivery because they were during EMS after the first tariffs.
>>
>>11722375
you're going to wind up getting banned
>>
>>11722381
Why would they ban me for asking for a refund on something that will never ship for months and months?
>>
>>11722384
are you unfamiliar with how strict they are?
you already paid for it, they get pissed off when you cancel things at all, doing it after it already released and they're waiting to ship it is basically asking for it
>>
>>11722387
I never heard about AmiAmi being that anal.
>>
>>11722391
they don't really fuck around, good luck
>>
>>11722392
I wish you told me this before I demanded a refund.
>>
>>11722313
This shit is so fucking annoying.
>>11722336
If you already paid, I'd imagine they'll ship it. The notice in the OP says they're not invoicing orders, you've already been invoiced and paid.
>>
>>11722371
Yeah, people are losing their shit at any kneejerk reaction.
>>11722391
Amiami is always known to be anal as hell, just be polite about it if they threaten you and youll be fine.
>>
>>11722384
You won't get banned, that anon is a retard. I've cancelled orders for no stated reason on amiami, you have to do it a lot to get in trouble.

God fucking damn, man.
I am tired of this years long hissy fit especially since it barely affects importing from China when that was the whole point of this shit at the start.
>>
>>11722371
It literally gets worse every time, and stupid morons like you keep flapping your gums claiming it'll be fine. How about you fuck off.
>>
>>11722313
What did you order?
>>
I got a back log of preorders from amiami. I wonder how fucked the process is going to be.

Currently, you pay them and they won't ship until a month later because I guess they only want to minimize shipping to the US as much as possible.
>>
>>11722505
Yeah, it's not great right now
>>
>>11722391
I have seen anons here get banned for cancelling one item. If you do it the same month as the figure is released, they go scorched earth on you. If you cancel a couple of months beforehand, they send you an email telling you that you are a dishonorable gaijin that has brought shame to your family for cancelling. Sometimes they outright refuse to cancel. Which they might do since you've already paid.
>>
>>11722313
So is this just basically saying:
>Yeah the market's kinda fucked right now with things going on so we're just gonna hold onto stuff for a bit before we slap you with a 30% jackup rate over DHL
Cause that just seems like good business. I was pissed back during COVID when they weren't shipping in general and holding stuff for months I paid for, but it came eventually when the world finally chilled the heck out.
>>
>>11722802
It's less about market and more about not even knowing how much to fucking charge if anything because the administration randomly makes massive announcements and never gives anyone instructions on what to do next.
>>
>>11722373
maybe going with a harpy no one likes wasn’t such a swell idea, huh?
oh you did it twice! good job.
>>
>>11722373
I read this post and I'm having this cognitive disconnect, because the lady they got to respond to the State of the Union and say tarriffs were a bad unafforable tax on the American people just put a 15% tax hike on Virgians over shit like pet ownership, home repairs, gas mileage, lawncare, groceries, and a bunch of other menial bullshit big city residents really won't feel as much.
>>
>>11722802
If we gotta wait for the American public to turn unretarded we're going to be waiting for a long time.
>>
>>11722812
I don't like Hillary either, but she was so much more qualified than Kamala it's not even funny. And she actually did win by over three million votes, just not in the right places. The electoral college is such antiquated horseshit. I just pray these retards learned their lesson and don't try running AOC in 2028.
>>

>a tax on imported goods and services that's used as a negotiation tool between countries to negotiate on trade of goods and the world export market, affects price of import goods so long as tarriff is in effect
>a tax on any service within a local, county, state, or country and is restricted solely inside said area of effect and directly impacts the taxee so long as the tax remains in effect
Justify why having a dog or fixing a roof should result in a hard tax.
>>
>>11722831
>Well good luck with that.
AOC is similar to Bernie in the sense that I think she is far too radical for the Dems taste. They want a candidate who falls in line and doesn't rock the boat or risk their pockets getting lighter and I don't see AOC falling in line or licking the boot hard enough to actually get their blessing.
>>
>>11722826
>I just pray these retards learned their lesson and don't try running AOC in 2028
that is my fear. they need to give up on the female president or try later when things are more stable. retard got elected twice because dems could not even put up a good candidate to oppose him. so pathetic

>>11722829
there are a lot of good and not retarded guys in congress. Massie, Rand Paul, Chris Murphy, Sean Casten just to name a few on both sides. But they never run for President and we somehow get stuck with retarded assholes

>>11722834
>that's used as a negotiation tool between countries
>falling for Trump's talking points
Anon lots of random things have taxes, it's always been that way because taxes have a purpose and place. Only a retard would advocate for 0 taxes or something. And tariffs need to be used strategically and surgically like on one item from one country. If you think Trump chaotically using them as a blunt weapon on his whim with no plan or goal is a normal thing to do, I guess you won't get it.

How will these deportations be funded? I think taxing your week shit is an acceptable way to help provide you and your children a safer America. Don't think of the discomfort with being in reasonably taxed, think of the America you are helping to build for not only your children but your grandchildren. You aren't being penalized your taking one for the team champ. And that's what being an American is all about.

>>
>>11722912
B-B-B-But the Orangeman did it, so it's especially bad! The tariffs are fine, really, but deminimis never should have been suspended. 800 bucks isn't something a business can use to import enough cheap shit from China or wherever to keep their businesses going. Deminimis was, quite literally, only good for people importing hobby-levels of shit, which doesn't hurt local businesses in the slightest. I like Trump, but he really shouldn't have gotten rid of that.
>>11723085
That's because Deminimis was a thing still. Even if he were to have put tariffs on Japan Deminimis would have saved you.
>>11723089
This doesn't even make sense. Did the thing you sell to him weigh a metric fuckton? The fees are literally 15%. If it was 200 clams, then that's 60 in fees. Shipping would have to make up the other $740 that's unaccounted for in your anecdote. Unless you were sending the guy heavily regulated goods with extra fees attached to them, or the thing weighed 200 fucking pounds, then it didn't jump from $200 to 1000, much less 500.

... so taxing home repair and pets is so that people are prevented from fixing their houses or owning pets?
wat?
>>
>>11722880
They have gotten a lot better, but they are still one of the most heavy handed. At least they were. Now HLJ won't even let you cancel after a certain date.
An anon got banned from Amico last year and he claimed it was the only thing he had ever cancelled. After some probing, we came to the conclusion that it was because it was in the same month as the figure was being released. They seem to be more lenient if it's a month or two before release.
And the cancellation options built in are only for a cancellation request. They can still deny the request, which has happened to some people.
>>
>>11722988
>H-he's bad because.....he just IS okay!!!
>>
>>11723333
>Now HLJ won't even let you cancel after a certain date.
Even worse is that some of those dates is(are?) the moment you place the order if they expect to sell high volumes (which they may not be able to fulfill).
