Well it’s begun, the Rising Sons wave is the start of what seems to be a constant stream of 4H deliveries set throughout the year (and boy did that wave deliver). Combined with their varied exclusives and all the surprise FO drops we get, these guys are just going hard right now. The TTRPG line is a great jumping in point for new fans and an easy way to get relatively cheap builders and accessory sets for old collectors. So what class would you play? Any guesses on what the stretch goal figures will be? Do you even have space for all these figures? Let us know and share pics while you’re at it.

And remember, Don't Feed the Troll.

Semi related since fantasy, but I got my D&D Ben Coopers in (well, Superstar). Great set with some very nice colors on the costumes. Also nice to have a small wave to open and not one of 7...
>>
where's Eagalus
>>
>>11722865
Hey alright. The colors aren't quite as bright as they're supposed to be, though.
>>
So first two Stretch Goals got hit and the second one is a brand "new" figure with two returning faces. The Monster Builder set is a Dwarf sized figure set with the parts to make either the Demi Vampire, Varg, or a Boarrior with updated hooves. The Add-On price for this guy is $45 a piece.

While I was really hoping we'd see more smaller figures in this project, I was honestly expecting Goblins. Conceptually, this is a great idea, especially for new fans who don't have these figures. You could even mix their parts with the Barbarian Upgrade legs to make a full sized figure.

....but I already own both of the originals of these guys and I prefer those looks over these and $45 is too much for me to drop on army builder fodder. Should've been a stand alone figure/upgrade combo like all the others because I probably would've jumped on some $30 Boarriors, but I'm sure others will buy tons of these guys.

Next figure unlock is at 1 million, which should certainly happen at the rate things are going.
>>
>>11723026
Oh I like this a lot. I Already have Vargg, but I like the idea of giving him a brutish friend. They could be a sort of vampire pinky and the brain.
>>
>>11722865
What the fuck are you doing? That's my pic you weird asshole. Why are there so many of you freaks on this board that steal people's images and pretend to be them?
>>
>>11722860
I'm so much buying that sorceress.
Almost certainly getting the cleric, too, and possibly some others (dwarf?, some unlockable?), but that will depend on the final price. I intend to preorder on some local retailer, not the KS. The KS is theoretically cheaper, but I expect that buying local will beat it once shipping prices and customs fees are factored in. Even if not, the difference should be close and it should be more convenient.
>>
>>11723088
I'm already $300 in so the savings per figure will add up to way more then what shipping would cost for me. Even without any of the RPG bullcrap, this is probably one of the strongest waves of figures they've put out to date. Their best figures are when they lean into the ability to make them generic blank slate characters.

Unless those two last unlocks are super stellar, must have releases, I'm pretty happy with what I pledged for.
>>
>>11723066
He does it in the Marvel General too. Pure autist.
>>
>>11723026
It's cool, but they should have kept the Boarrior parts as an upgrade pack. I never liked how the Boarrior turned out with the first release.
Really, you hit the nail on the head. It should have been a goblin, with the Boarrior parts and the Varg head and wings being two seperate upgrade packs. $45 is too much for an army builder when I don't want to army build either monster.
If it was a $30 gobbo, I'd buy multiples.
Honestly, I'm finding myself wanting to prioritise army building over the rpg characters and upgrade kits. I wish I didn't want that damned exclusive cleric/paladin so much. He's worth two orcs, and I have trouble justifying him when I think about it in those terms.

>Personally?
>Chunkily?

>Well that was awkward

>I wish I didn't want that damned exclusive cleric/paladin so much. He's worth two orcs, and I have trouble justifying him when I think about it in those terms.

I know, I kinda wish he stayed limited so I wouldn't have even had to worry about trying to get him. As is I plan on getting two of the Red Clerics already, so the the SDCC one isn't just eating funds that could get two more figures, but he's similar to figures I've already gotten two of. At the very least I can skip the Paladin expansion set and just use the SDCC knight helmet on one of the red Clerics. Though I really think the Paladin look should've been the default head of that figure.

It seems the momentum of the project finally slowed down, so now it's just gonna be a long crawl to hit the rest of those goals. Kinda wish they had more goals as waiting for the 250k between em will be a slog.

>SNEAK PEEK - EDGEHOUNDERS CHARACTER PACK from Cosmic Legions!

>Amidst all the excitement for Mythic Legions and our new RPG, we wanted to take a moment for a little Cosmic news - namely the reveal of this new Character Pack!

>This brand-new Cosmic Character Pack will be available for preorder at StoreHorsemen.com sometime later this year! This set includes 2 different heads (each with very cool “Edgehounder Hunters” face paint designs) plus 2 neck posts and a set of arms in same flesh-tone color to match the heads! This set pairs wonderfully with the VORGGA figure from the Cosmic Legions 1 wave (as shown in the second pic), and we will have this new Character Pack available during the preorder both with a Vorgga figure for a discounted price or as just the heads pack alone!

>Of course, because this set is made with the Legions Build System, the heads are also fully compatible with other Legions figures! The final shot shows one of these heads on our 2026 Touring Figure for the Legendary Warrior. That figure is making her debut at the Zolocon show this weekend!

>This heads pack will be available as a preorder item so ANYONE who wants one will have a chance to get it. We will also have them available at future live events after the preorder has ended and these sets are in hand.

>Stay tuned for more surprises in 2026 as we return to Cosmerrium and blast full steam ahead with Cosmic Legions!

I was just thinking last night the Neve head would look good repainted, but this is some quick ass turn around. They probably had this set already planned and are just gonna cram the red headed face in there since it's already made. I was hoping to grab that head anyway, but having it come with another cool head AND a new set of arms is certainly a bonus.

I can't wait to put that red head on my Legendary Warrior.
>>
>>11723819
at least this confirms the Female warrior is 1.0 head to toe. Some were debating if the head was 2.0
>>
>>11723854
Well she's just Neve with a different head, I didn't even realize anyone disputed that.
>>
>>11723854
Something about the default head being comparable to a 2.0 face. People on istagram, Facebook, etc thought they could use the red head from the science officer cosmic legion head pack on it which lead to some back and forth if the neck peg was 1.0 or 2.0.
>>
>>11723819
I kinda wish the Neve head had natural colored hair instead of looking like a Seattle barista that you know is going to give you some of the wildest sex you've ever had along with an antibiotic resistant strain of chlamydia.
>>11723897
I noticed that the Science Officer head pack sold out on BBTS immediately following Sonjagate.
>>
>>11723897
>People on istagram, Facebook

Well that explains why they were wrong at least.

I did try to use the red headed dwarf head on the Neve body, but because her joint is attached to the torso and not a removable neck, it was sitting way too high to look good.

>>11724069
There's gonna be a lot of disappointed collectors. But at least they can grab an extra Wizard from the KS to make use of the head.
>>
So 4H announced a load of new stretch goals to the project, mostly centered around the actual RPG game and most being added for free to certain pledge levels.

The only new one that I found interesting though was the mention of an "Enemies Head Pack". Right now it seems to be something that will only be included in the All-In, but I doubt it'll stay that way. But if they drop a pack of Orc and Skeleton heads (or helmets as the one the skeleton has is removable) it'd be an interesting Add-On.

I kinda hate how quickly this project slowed to a crawl though, was hoping to get a few more goals in before it hit the wall. I'm sure it'll blow past a million at the end, but that last figure reveal.....which I'm gonna claim is a Skeleton......is looking mighty iffy. Sadly we'll just have to sit through a month of essentially no news before we get any big pushes again.
>>
>>11725066
....nvm, just read some comments on their Insta, the Enemy Head Pack will be a stand alone add on, but added free for all-ins after the stretch goal is hit. I guess that means that have surprises that *aren't* stretch goals....and I honestly don't know how to feel about that.
>>
>>11722860
all the heads are too big. looks a bit shit desu
>>
>>11725066
Hahaha! They had to revise it cause all those dumbfucks on facebook and instagram would be getting their sets and crying where’s my stuff???? It was unlocked!!!!! This is like a gift this last couple of weeks watching the 3 Neckbeards scramble from stepping in dogshit again and again. Their cheerleader dork getting attacked cause he’s so far up their ass they thought he was an employee. Nope he’s just a super shill. Having their warehouse guys sit up all night to remove heads from hundreds of figures. Then bullshit studios getting attacked by Caball Lickers that they had to remove comments and pics from their posts. This has really been fun and it’s only February.
>>
>>11725066
>as the one the skeleton has is removable
Was this confirmed?
>>
>>11725119
Oh it's keyed? So I guess it'll have a funky hole in the skull. I guess the question is how visible it'll be.
>>
>>11725073
You have some serious issues you should have checked out.
>>
>>11725066
>extra face plate in the heads pack
I was going to pass on the heads pack since the coif head and face comes in the exclusive Paladin, but this changes things. I'm always down for more face plates.
>Enemies head pack
Definitely needed to create some variety with the orc and skelly. I'm guessing it might include a redeco of one of Urzokk's other heads.
>>11725123
They said it is the same key as the Legendary Barbarian hair. Which I don't own, so I will leave it to somebody that owns it to describe how visible it is.
>>
>>11725119
>>11725123
That means luscious locks for the spooky one.
>>
>>11725179
Apparently the elf rogue also uses the exact same key. You can pretty much make your pic.
>>
>>11725123
>>11725167
Having just checked my Barbarian....it's very visible. The key is on the head itself, so the top of the head is flat with a large rectangle peg on it. Kind of backwards way to do it, but considering the whole idea started off as a sort of happy accident, I can't complain too much.

>>11725179
....I actually planned on doing something like that with one of my Belualyth hair pieces and a 2.0 skele head. I'm not a fan of her being the lone zombie in my boneyard, so I want to make her into a long haired female skeleton. Sadly to get it to work I'd have to either gouge off the top of the head or gouge out the inside of the hair and I hesitate to so thoroughly destroy parts to these figures. Pop n Swap is fine, I'll even cut up some accessories since i have so many, but actually chopping into their bits gives me a moment of pause.
>>
>>11725209
Oh neat, didn't know that. Should make giving him a hat that much easier.

While talking with a friend about the line, I had a sudden idea to make a six man party based on the old MMO Final Fantasy XI and the Elf head on the Cleric body would be a real easy way to whip up a basic Red Mage. All I'd need would be a hat.

I've already been working on a custom Warrior from a Red Armory figure, so that just leaves me with four spots to fill.
>>
>>11725215
So the peg is on the head and the socket is in the hair? So it's like a Lego minifig head?
Yeah, that is kind of backwards to how I thought it would be done. Maybe they decided to do it that way because the head already has the socket for the neck all.
>>
>>11725225
*neck ball
>>
>>11725225
Uhhh, not quite like that
>>
>>11725225
IIrc, they let the factory handle the connection system as everything is initially made as a single piece. From what I remember, the swappable face plates started off as an accident, as they were originally supposed to be glued down. But during some testing the factory forgot to do that and the 4H like the idea of keeping the faces removable. It wasn't an intended choice at the start, so compatibility between faces and heads wasn't a factor.

Now it seems like it'll be something they use more often, so they just decided on one system and are sticking with that. Unfortunately what they decided on is yes, the lego head system.
>>
>>11725242
>From what I remember, the swappable face plates started off as an accident, as they were originally supposed to be glued down. But during some testing the factory forgot to do that and the 4H like the idea of keeping the faces removable
I thought that was what happened for the long hair figures like ghost of Christmas Past and Belualyth. From my understanding the face plates on the knights were always intended to be swappable, which was why Sir Elijah and Adalric were both sold with alternate faceplates. They were the first figures to use the faceplate system, right? Unless I am forgetting an earlier release.
>>
>>11725066
>I kinda hate how quickly this project slowed to a crawl though
most backer projects work like this sadly where the first week or so it spikes with backers to then see nothing until the last few days.
>>
>>11725254
Was that from the Ghost? I thought it was in response to people asking why coif and helmet faces aren't interchangeable. Since the 4H didn't design the system, the factory did, it system was never designed to be universal. Though it could very easily have also been about the Ghost/Zombie hair swap potential as it's very much the same situation.

>>11725291
Yea I know, was just griping. At least this one hit the goal quickly so we don't have three weeks of trolls screaming how it'll fail and how everything they do is terrible because they used kickstarter.

The skeleton has a mid-torso joint, right? I wonder why they don't have an add-on pack for the skeleton that has skeletal forearms and shins, maybe a skull, maybe other things as well. They don't really seem to want to sell skeletons individually.
>>
Looks like Savage Crucible will also have a dragon of some kind. I guess the question is if this will be a dragon or large draconian type. Maybe a dragon from Melnibone to go along with Elric.

The white character in the back seems like it'll be a Toylanta exclusive, so another traveling con exclusive to go with the one that debuted at Zolocon, it seems.

Kinda looks like an inverted Nashorn, glad I passed on him because this version looks way better. I also see their Death Dealer back there in plastic, so I can only assume he's close to completion as well.

>>11725851
That's actually kind of metal.
>>
>>11725066
Why kickstarter, they dont have money to do business?
>>
>>11726104
I believe they said that the RPG genre is very popular on KS, so it's a good starting point to launch and gain awareness that way. They could sell the figures on their own any time, and they probably will make more 'player characters' in the future this way, but to launch the actual RPG game, which is ultimately the purpose of this KS, they found it best to launch this way.

>>11723819
>EDGEHOUNDERS CHARACTER PACK from Cosmic Legions
Those woud make great dreadnok heads.
>>
>>11726104
The only reason anyone uses Kickstarter, advertising. Production on everything is already started, this is just an easy way to get a completely new audience invested, literally and figuratively, in this new media avenue they're taking. Considering this is planned to be a retail release project, having a wildly successful kickstarter is a good way to hesitant retail stores to buy in. The market and audience is there, and the numbers will show it.

>>11726152
Shame they'll be WAY too big for Classified figures.
>>
>street date for retail wave was Feb 18th
>March 2
>still nothing
I'm not backing shit till I get that squared first
>>
>>11726977
People are gettin em, I'm just not sure from where. I know BBTS ain't got shit, but that's normal for them. It oould be they're getting their stock from later shipments as the Rising Sons wave was split across multiple boats, but I don't think this is a 4H issue since retailers get theirs directly from the ports.
>>
So they just hit one of the stretch goals to add a new face to the heads pack. It's just the skull faceplate, which imo is kind of disappointing considering the significance of the pledge number needed to unlock it. Would've been nice if it was something new, as this KS seems to have not nearly enough new parts to be exciting for long time collectors.

The Necro Dice pack is about to get unlocked too, after that it's on to actually good unlocks. Including the confirmed "Villain Head Pack" set at 935k.
>>
>>11726983
They said the singles arrived first followed by the All-in shipments already. BBTS' problem is they get their own cargo shipment separate from 4H sent directly to them and it's always way slower than 4H getting stuff. Presume other smaller shops buy direct from 4H and get it shipped to them from 4H. One I'm waiting on keeps saying any day now
>>
>>11726983
>since retailers get theirs directly from the ports.
Nah, smaller retailers get theirs sent to Four Horsemen and they distribute them to the retailers from there, which is why 4H posted that the retailer wave had arrived at their warehouse.
Like the other anon saaid, BBTS order enough that their stock arrives in its own container that gets trucked straight to them.
