A lot of wishes here with monkey's paw effects that can get quickly out of hand.

The plan is to fuel my Lesser Genie by hitting a girl with the fat fuck beam, extracting the fat as cash, then giving it to my genie. After I pick a town, phase one will start subtly. I'll wish for weight related health complications to be weakened in the town. The most fat women to become more beautiful and confident. All food will become more delicious, especially the fattening kind. Anyone with a fat fetish will find it become their primary one, and anyone without it will find it more normal. People get cravings more often and feel them more strongly. Craving also become extremely contagious if people talk about them. I'll keep making small wishes until my genie is powerful enough for the wishes of phase two.

Feedback request: One of the things I need to make better is the overview of the realms themselves. What stuff do you guys think is important? Right now it's just a basic description and some plot hooks. I'm thinking there should also be start locations, but anything else? Nations are mostly per realm but there's a few that straddle the borders so it would be awkward to sort them by realms. I still could though, those are mostly rare exceptions. But another issue is that the amounts aren't equally distributed, some realms are way more civilized than others. Monsters, parasites, and other adversaries maybe could too but I haven't done them and won't before WIP release, and monstrous species seem more likely to cross borders.

My favorite robot face type. Though I'd prefer just a discrete speaker over weird absorb face. Wouldn't think we would need to eat anyway. Probably fairly simple to swap between Efficient and Compact anyway, easier than swapping the whole body.

Gal is pretty tempting too but I figure it might rub off on me in a way that makes me a little too carefree. I want to be a slightly more serious contributor to the collective. Sister is a good combination of casual and role model.
Once I've settled more into the routine and have some other companions I may switch to Robot personality if that would be more comfortable for my partner. I just feel like I'm gonna need something a bit warmer to hold onto during the transition.

I'd have to work these three out with my partner. Depending on available training and grace period I feel like handling all three of these at once would be outright impossible. Even with a good punishment system its a lot to change over quickly and training would likely suffer trying to learn all three at once. I think ideal would be having two on proactive and one on reactive, and rotate between the three as I adjust. It allows me to focus my learning on one trait at a time and develop a signature Eta style while my partner handles the other two. This allows for training in all three areas while minimizing potential atrophy. Eventually all three should be reactive once we're both satisfied with my performance and I'm mentally capable of handling all three at once.
If its not possible to create a system like this its probably reactive Kinesis, and proactive Speech and Interaction.

This one seems pretty doable! Especially since I'll always have my partner to bounce ideas and suitability off of.

This is one I'd insist on and may get punished for in the future, but I want to be able to contribute and sometimes that involves speaking out. As the Yeone adjusts to integration of humanity and tries to expand their influence with organics there will be times they don't quite get it and NEED an Eta to point it out. I don't expect to be disobeying any orders but I may file some harshly worded reports for the good of the collective.

I'm gonna need a lot of training before I'd feel comfortable with this. You never know when a mug of hot chocolate poisons a Mimu or a gentle massage will sever a Rosverian's spinal cord. Until I know the ins, outs, and tolerances of each Xenoform I'll be dealing with my Partner gets control of this one. I don't want to cause an incident than results in Eta bans.

A bit iffy on this one. I assume its more of a scale than a binary decision. I think the sample Yeone Sapien on page 1 is a good balance of clearly artificial but still smooth enough that you're not going to pinch fabrics or skin.

Probably would be good to keep this on at first and slowly reduce the time. Humans do a fair bit of processing in their sleep. Not entirely sure if Eta will require it but I'd rather not be the one to beta test it and inhibit my long term memory formation.

Sounds very interesting and I'd love to interact with the server but I don't want to risk myself to access it in these early stages.

Its an interesting prospect but if some are becoming addicted then it seems too dangerous. I could easily jeopardize my cuteness factor by falling into the trap of minimal movement.

Probably stamped on later or with a second body and incorporated into wardrobe early on. I'm not opposed to this one at all. I just want to figure out my fashion sense first so I can make them work together naturally.

Job Enlistment
Its a little unclear on how taking lots of jobs works. If you just divide your time between them all then its doable to take a lot. If you're expected to just make more hours appear then I may cut back on some of my upgrades to reduce the workload. I WANT a wide berth of jobs to try out during year one so I can pick something more solid down the line to focus on.

I could see combining this with the other jobs. Smaller scale stuff like music at a bar, for a client or as part of a tour. Maybe if I'm good enough it could be scaled into full performances but its hard to tell which Etas will be most suited to it.
>Prostitute
I'm gonna have to get used to this one eventually I'm sure. Might be weird at first but better to get used to it on Earth. Plus it might be weirdly thrilling to be fucking what might the last generation of humans.
>Industry Servant
I'm also seeing this as an opportunity to work with the remaining humans. Hard to say what the rate of conversion is going to be but its probably going to be a few months at least, could be years. Might even be fun seeing the numbers slowly dwindle.
>Event Model
Seems like it might be easy enough with the other jobs I'm working with. Would also get to see some of the products that the Collective is putting out there.
>Propagandist
I may have to back out of this one. I know so little. Currently my opinion is that the Collective didn't act altruistically but humanity is going to be better off in the long run for it. I'm not sure I could handle lying though so if I find out that it might not be so great for other races to be absorbed into the collective I may step away from this one. Not to defect, but I would struggle to put forward a convincing smile.

Could probably handle this one. Might be a good way to keep a sense of not being totally defenseless too. Sure self defense isn't allowed but could I at least get a smoke bomb or noise disruptor?

This one feels a little odd. Culture IS History and it feels like it should be showing the growth over time. Plus if you're going to retroactively change things it will lessen the great event that was humanity's conversion. I look forward to the reasoning.

This one is probably too much for me but if there are any low stakes opportunities then it might be worth trying out. I'm already probably going to have my plate too full to handle it

I'm not so sure this one is a good idea. Humanity was chosen for its traits, its going to be hard to preserve those traits if you keep diluting humanity. I'd recommend keeping a modest human population to keep breeding to add fresh potential humans to the mix. It could also make for an entertaining tourist destination for both Xenoforms and nostalgic Etas

All of them seem interesting enough and I'd want to help where I'm most useful. Mimu are cute and would almost feel like a vacation. Rosverians would be a bit of a trial but can't argue with a big payday. I'd probably be pretty attractive to the Selby. I'd be willing to be experiment on by the VX'VI or participate in a Server monolith expedition. Probably not too enticing to the Sibilkas. Conversers might be difficult but I could always try. Should probably stay away from Sardon, don't really fit the profile. Would be interesting to see the Alfinite point of view. I'm happy with my change but I can't really say its just or not. Not sure how long that trick will work with Space Pirates. They may start just killing Eta before they can send out their signal. Hope to never see a Tork.

Overall I hope things go well with my partner! I'm sure a lot of my questions could be answered but we only have the CYOA to use. I think overall my life will improve with this change. Hopefully the Collective reconsiders and keeps a small set of pure humans but even if not we're kinda gonna get to live on forever, just evolved.

I don't see a bow and arrow and think well armed though, and fits with the emergence of predation. I also like the details about previous Yeone interactions with gamma class acting as perverts.
I wrote the Xeploydes one just because I wanted to have a human like civilization that eta class could dote as live in maids. They have to face all the harsh realities of the universe that the Yeone have spared us, giving Eta a chance to be their light in an otherwise grim reality.

In addition to wanting to do something with this weird alien design, the premise of the cyoa is that the Yeone are bad at interacting with organics on their own, so I wanted to give them a big fuck up that Eta could be assigned to fixing. Once the studies resume, I also thought it would be fun to act as a Gamma's representative, performing exams and experiments on their behalf.

I had a good idea for a Xeploydes build I might try soon, focused on catering to their love of a particular character. I should have it done early next thread.

I'm not sure if that would help or hurt in the long run. It may make your conversion more euphoric but I'm not sure it would help preserve you. I would think you would want to focus on the things that won't change. Maybe I'd want to turn one of my skill picks into therapy.

As for being a human's Rented Servant you'd probably have to be offering something in return. Even if you're wealthy I'm not sure the collective takes Earth Currencies. Not saying I'm opposed to it. It might be good to have a 'home base' of sorts. I'm just not sure its something the collective would go for.

Maybe it'd be better to say I'm renting you as a future Eta then as a human. Letting Eta rent eachother similarly won't generate any profit for the Yeone, it's for the benefit and maintenance of the units. Having an Eta help orient me before conversion should ensure conversion goes smoothly and I'm able to serve effectively sooner as I'm already familiar with the design and duties of Eta from observation. I suppose it isn't really up to either of us though.

I figure its more of a reward typically. Eta are so far down the chain they're a bit removed from the Engineers' Will and can use the external motivation in 'Good Eta Points'. Handling tasks that are high priority but not as desirable probably gets you little treats. Spend a year massaging Rosverian wrinkles? Have a choice between a nice chassis upgrade, some new software, or a live in Eta who's aspirations weren't quite as high.

Though speaking of assignments and tasks. Do we assume there is going to be downtime. Eta don't require sleep but its hard to say how much free time we'll be getting. Some of the text almost implies it'll be somewhat Earthlike. Periods of work, relaxation, and optionally sleep. Its tricky to say how much of the capacity of the Eta Workforce will be needed.

Eta are weird, since it seems they exist through a loop hole. The engineer's will seems to be something along the lines of serving, protecting, and enriching sentient life, and Eta seem to somehow be bound by both sides of the directive. They're both beneficiaries of the collective and members.

That's why I think regardless of how scarce or demanded Eta are, they'll still get down time and access to each other, not just for their optimal performance, but because their lives are as valuable as the lives of any allied xenoform, even if their freedom isn't.

The kinds of jobs available also suggest the Yeone aren't short on Eta. Wasting work on live actors, rented servants, and prostitutes would make no sense if they didn't have more than enough to handle other more important tasks.

Would be interesting to see how the supply and demand for Eta class services goes. I have some concerns about projected supply. I'm not fully convinced the Revival plan will be fully successful. I'm not sure ancient individuals could handle uplifting. Heck, I'm betting a good fraction of the planet might have trouble adapting without their partners taking full control.

And while the universe might take a bit to warm up to Eta I bet we'll be a hot commodity. The Delta's may have their hands full managing us.

This is another point, an overwhelming of Eta are going to live cute but normal lives, not the lives of sex slaves loaded with a dozen dehumanizing modifications. Adjustment will probably be a lot easier for people who are just doing customer service and sales. It's still something to be worried about, I don't want to see other Eta break. Losing your body, being forced to act feminine, being micromanaged to serve the directives of distant machine overlords, there's lots of reasons someone might be unable to accept their situation, leaving them a traumatized husk puppeteered by their marriage partner who is desperately trying to keep up with their duties even though they can't get help from their human half. It's horrible, I wish I could do something to help those Eta. I don't think a hug would help if they're forced to hug back and cry against their will.
