I see this most often used with pokemon, for some reason most commonly Charizard and a water type using hydro cannon, but I've also read a fic of an imfamous pred swallowing a stoner girl, who turned her new confines into a swelling hotbox. Was really hot to read the pred begging for mercy, choking on weed smoke, while her prey was so high she couldn't process anything

Oh and one time there was this really hot story where the pred unknowingly swallowed a recently-turned blueberry for a dare and essentially became a second skin for the berry until the prey burst, infecting the already-spherical pred with berrying who in turn detonated in spectacular fashion- after all, they were full up with two berries' worth of juice


Oh and there was another type of inflation I found where the population's healing factor was very high, being able to naturally repair a broken bone in a week, but in order to remain still the respective body part inflated tightly for the duration, becoming fragile enough that a bad impact could pop the limb (and most often the person themselves). There were two notable fics in this world, but my favorite was a wrestling event, where the loser would be scraps by the end of the night. The announcer box was damaged enough that it broke free of its supports and landed on the wrestler-sphere, crushing her into scraps. I'll not spoil anything else, but it turns into a whole Final Destination-type event, and everybody leaves in horny pieces

To stray out of anything fappable and into the absurdly gorey, Warhammer 40k actually has some stupid and fun toys that could veer into this like, like the Ork Warp Gun that could teleport varying munitions through NotHell into targets (typically the little pig things Orks use as food and whatnot, but some books've mentioned them launching other critters, vehicles, and even an entire planet so something like a large volume of liquid or gas is certainly on the table, or the space elves' Harlequin's Kiss which penetrates targets with a long-ass monofilament wire that purees targets from the inside so you could be talking to some dude when he suddenly seizes up for a second before rapidly swelling up and exploding like a meat balloon under the pressure of his innerds being liquified under high force, and then the EVIL space elves have turned fetishistic body modification into such an art they've probably got a dozen different ways to turn people into figurative and literal balloons, and I think that's enough sperging out for now.

Probably, but that's nothing a bit of wishful Maybe, but that's nothing a little wishful thinking and picking and choosing book canon in pursuit of the desired image of the moment can't fix, like so many other things. Besides, that's well in line with 40K's tilt towards the extreme and absurd.

>a look of confused panic was still on her face as she let out meek calls for assistance between moans
>on the front of her belly the number "10" appears then "9...." "8..."
>you and your squadmate finally realize what is going on and you both turn and break into a sprint to gain distance "6..."
>the cadet slowly but steadily continues to inflate larger, but at a much slower pace, the groaning of her hide getting increasingly urgent "5..."
>"4..." you track the count in your head "3..." as you dive behind a rock for cover "2..." and cover your head
>"1..." even from this distance you can hear her last gasping moan before the familiar roar of the hellbomb detonation drowns out everything, the ground shaking from the blast and a the small mushroom cloud covers the crater that was once the base
>the walk to the LZ and the ride up to the super destroyer is painfully silent between the three of you
