NO NO NO. THE FUN PLACE IS ACTUALLY DOGSHIT BECAUSE ME AND MY FLYOVER FRIENDS KNOW OUR OWN PLACE BETTER.
WE ALSO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR PLACE BECAUSE ITS DESIREABLE, AND ITS BAD.

The truth is exactly the opposite. Neurotypical midwits gravitate to the most popular cities and basedface about how great everything is. Non-NT travelers enjoy the smaller, overlooked places because being a visitor in such a place feels special and rewarding.

Yes. Being a famous and mainstream First World country with one of the world's best passenger rail systems does, in fact, make Japan easy to travel.
Now try riding out of Manila. Privately operated buses leave from random lots all over the city. What's the schedule? Who knows. What's the fare? Who knows, you pay on board. Does the bus to X stop at Y? Who knows. Is there going to be a seat available? Maybe not, you might be stuck crouching on a stool in the aisle for three hours. You have to physically show up to the bus station (which station? who knows) and talk to people to figure out how the whole thing works. Babby's first Asia my ass. There's a reason why so few people backpack around the Philippines. Traveling the country is a fucking shitshow compared to Japan.

Japan has all the money they stole from Asia during World War 2, to fund all those railways and subways. Meanwhile countries like the Philippines can't even afford those shit because most of their treasury was stolen by Japan in the first place. If you actually look at history the Tranvia and Railway system of the Philippines is actually older than Japan's but Japan mercilessly burned Manila and the Philippines and stole all their money during the war out of pure spite.

>Best passenger railway systems
The bullet trains to the other cities are nice, but the subways are fucking retarded. Due to the fact that there is like 5 subway companies alone in Tokyo. Makes it somewhat confusing on your first day. Finding the right kiosk to buy a ticket.
Singapore is infinitely better, even Hong Kong has a better subway system.

All I really care about when traveling is buying goods exclusive to the place I am in or with insane export costs. When I go to japan I want to buy iron heart, samurai, exclusive jem seiko and citizen watches, kuoe watch, sony wena smart bracelet, stationary and notebooks, chefs knives, samue jinbei and hanten

>all lines are color-coded on Google Maps
>all stops bear the symbol of their respective transport company
>all schedules are online for easy trip planning
Somehow this counts as "difficult". Time for you to start using your phone for learning about your surroundings instead of scrolling that goddamn brainrot.

When's the last time someone posted in /PHG/ about their multi-day Cordillera trekking adventure? Years go by and not a single post. The country is a lot less accessible than you think. Rookies never even venture into the good parts, and experienced travelers set their sights on more interesting places like Vietnam. Taiwan and Japan are much more organized and suitable for somebody unaccustomed to the clusterfuck-in-motion that is rural travel in Third World shitholes.

>Philippines is poor because of the Japs 80 years
>Not because of the rampant corruption or that the country is run by complete retards
Do you know that Filipinos are the most powerful race?

Well to be fair Japan and South Korea got 180 Billion US Dollars in Free US Aid each during the Cold War in order to oppose neighboring Communist China, Russia, and North Korea, whereas the Philippines had none of that. Easy for Japan and South Korea to develop when you 200 Billion US dollas in free money cause the US of A are afraid of zeee commmieees!

Korean nationalists are the funniest people online. Your country has no history so you just make up shit. The only cultural invention Korea has is endless crying online. They pioneered that.
But yes, America and Japan gave shitloads of money to prop up South Korea after the war.

>I'll hand you this money, but you have to do what I tell you to do to get it
That's called a job. Perhaps you've never held one, or else you'd have known that's how jobs work. Civilizational development doesn't happen by lounging in plastic chairs. It happens when people work sunup to sundown building and building and building. And of course, they expect to be compensated for their work. The money is anything but "free". They damn well earned it.
