I never understood why people go to Japan just for Tokyo. Unironically one of the worst places in Japan. I'm guessing it's mostly because Europeans have a fascination with being stuck inside giant cities their entire life but it boggles my mind just how much untapped potential Japan has to show people and most just ignore it. Like a bowl of ramen will make your average tourist jizz their pants lmao
