I can't comprehend the people who stuck with Power Rangers. I was there as a Millennial growing up in the 90's. I was watching Power Rangers day1 and experienced the kino of the Green Ranger being introduced as a villain and his eventual conversion into becoming the White Ranger. I saw everything with Rita, Zed, and the movie with Ivan Ooze. I lost track of the series, and ultimately lost interest, when they went into space. I know they've had dozens of series since then and I couldn't tell you anything about them.

In Space and Lost Galaxy were fantastic. I stopped watching them after that as I guess I just grew out of it. I caught glimpses of later seasons through my little brother still watching them and it was pretty cool to see Tommy pop up sometimes but other than that the magic was lost for me.

In Space and Lost Galaxy are like that.
In Space was the season that saved Power Rangers as a whole from cancellation. It's the season after Turbo (which is the season after Zeo); you might want to skip Turbo as a whole (it had a terrible first half before the cast was replaced, and even the second half is still more along the lines of MMPR and Zeo) - aside from the season finale that is; Turbo's season finale is pretty good and leads directly into In Space.
Lost Galaxy is the first season to be independent rather than a continuation of another season (although it still takes quite a bit from In Space - even having the first of the seasonal crossovers).
