Cameron Diaz was supposed to be the psycho but she was the only reasonable & likeable one.

Penelope Cruz is obviously deeply in love. The problem is, it’s with herself. So we don't feel Tom is really giving up very much on the rooftop when he says goodbye to her, which sort of undercuts that scene.

Other than that it’s OK I suppose. Haven't seen the Spanish thing it's based on.

Look up what Gnosticism is if you don't know already. The movie obviously draws a lot of parallels

Best movie of Cruise’s career, both Tom and Penelope. Jason Lee kinda killed the vibe but I guess he plays the annoying friend well. Cameron Diaz is insanely hot in this, second only to The Mask.

Forgettable 90s era movie. I liked the trailer going from shitty romcom to shamalamadingdong

They literally spell it all out at the end though

Anyone else get The Matrix type of vibe from this movie?

Wouldn't be surprised if the Wachowski's were inspired by the original spanish movie

It's a very well made movie that drops the ball on the ending. It explains too much.
