You have to be willfully oblivious to not see the fact that Luca is a gay allegory from start to finish. There's confiding to a close friend about something only you two can understand, coming out, chosen families, struggle for support from parents and bullying from peers. There's even the conversion camp allegory about the see-through uncle taking Luca to the deep sea until he "grows out of his phase". One of the main plot points of the film is how Alberto is jealous of the girl. As I said, you either have to be blind or absolutely culturally illiterate not to see it.

Your faggotry aside, one thing I find incredibly odd, is that people seem to have completely forgotten how massively popular white men on cruisers and Harleys were in the 90s. They were in tons of ads and TV shows that focused on handsome white guys riding motorcycles, and they were sold as sex symbols for men to emulate and women to lust after.
