It was a good idea either way. The pilot was still the best episode. The third season felt like they were trying anything. I would probably given up watching after a fourth season.

Whatever, I haven't watched the show, I haven't watched adult swim in probably 10 years outside of times I get stuck in a hotel for work, and all I remembered seeing was just rick and morty.
That being said, good. More shows should end when the show runners are tired of it.
The thing I always hate about television is that it either ends too early, or it goes on way too long. There aren't a lot of shows that feel like they ended where they needed to.
