Season 1 and to a lesser extent 2 are what a zombie show should actually be like. In later seasons the zombies become almost entirely irrelevant, they're a minor inconvenience 99% of the time unless they need one to sneak up on a character in the woods. A zombie survival show should be about surviving the fucking zombies, not stupid feuds between over-the-top groups of humans. This isn't fucking Fallout.

Day of the Dead feels like the kind of drama where people are breaking down because of the situation they're in, not because Sarah called Jessie at the office fat and now they want each other dead oh by the way there are zombies around.

season 6 episode 15 should've ended with the group getting surrounded in the woods whistling, episode 16 should've started off from the last episode with the 15 minutes of buildup to the bashing of abraham/glenn and the aftermath without the gay flashback sequence and should've ended with the "ta-ta" scene and the few minutes of aftermath

the all out war storyline ends by end of season 7 or season 8 episode 8 AT THE LATEST
