I can't wait for AI to kill Hollywood

Hollywood is already dying
They can't make new stars since Zoomers and Gen A care more about streamers. Most of their highest grossing movies are just squeezing whatever life is left out of existing IPs and TV shows have massively gone down in quality and popularity

With grok and Sora introducing video extension, I suspect AI shorts are going to proliferate even more now. I'd probably have a feature length movie by now if they weren't so stingy with their free credits.

isn't that what you're doing? just killing hollywood? isn't it the same thing? doesn't the AI just kill hollywood? aren't you doing the same thing? isn't that just what AI does? what you're doing right now? don't you just predict the next movie? isn't that what the AI does too? just like you are doing? isn't it the same?

I can't fathom how low IQ and brown you have to be to see those awkward few seconds long loops with zero consistency, creepy ambient noise and emotionless line delivery and come to the conclusion that this is going to replace actual art.

It hit a plateau 2 years ago when they jumped to transformers. People saw the leap from Will Smith eating spaghetti to the Sora 1.0 demo and thought it was just giving the thing more data and graphics cards or something, when that was a switch to an entirely different architecture and we don't know where to go from here.

I think we will have another generation of celebs or so
They will sell their likeness.
Once the next generation or two.(Like Gen Alphas kids, maybe more)
Will Grew up with Ai. Instead of remembering a time without it like us.
That's when the studios/Hollywood at large will pull the rug on actors.
SUNO Ai already partnered with the three biggest record labels to avoid being sued into oblivion. The music industry now owns the tech, they are using their catalogs freely, and already have agreed to sign their artists to the Ai if they want to.
Ai is already writing "hit" songs just performed by real people I bet.
Eventually they will get rid of them to.

yeah, i suppose a lot of the real celebrities will have to die off. the ones who are genuinely committed to acting and filmmaking will probably stick around doing arthouse and b-movie shit for a while. seems like a slow transition would be pretty easy to pull off. which leads me to another question: how do we know there aren't ai celebrities already? and if there are, which ones? how would we find out?
