>why that's a nice mountain! we should go there sometimes and check it out!
>whyte people going to nature
>John Phillips was found dead days later after exploring Devil's Asshole alone. The cave has narrow crevices spanning miles underground.
Why?

How did this movie buckbreak so many faggots? Everyone was mad like this after 9/11 and Rico is an absolute hero. Also fascists seem to have the best aestectics for whatever reason junkie liberals simply can't compete.

White people have conquered the entire natural world. We're sitting around wondering why nonwhites can't figure out how to contribute to civilization or do agriculture, we're bored of being trapped on this planet with you apes so we go spelunking in dangerous caves and shit to increase the artificial difficulty, since mastering nature was so easy for us we need to do shit like this to keep it interesting while we wait for you lot to stop being retarded, incapable barbarians.

>love the movie
>read the book years later
>the only thing in common is some of the names
I enjoyed both. That said, I'm impressed they even got to call it Starship Troopers and claim it was based off the book. They could have just as easily claimed it was based off The Forever War with how little they draw from it.

Would watch another one with General Johnny Rico. Casper van Dein still seems to be down

I'm honestly not sure why they bothered to call it Starship Troopers. Was Starship Troopers really a house hold name that carried weight they could cash in on in 1998?
I remember seeing the movie and then reading the book, but I was in highschool back then and I didn't get anything out of the book because I was a colossal dumbass.

The scene at the end when Army Dog comes home to a BLM riot doesn't make as much sense without it. It really undermines the theme of Army Dog sacrificing his humanity for the sake of his country when he comes home to find it's not worth defending and all of the atrocities he committed to protect freedom were for nothing.

I avouch, with no tincture of dubitation, that the historiola aforecited was a very palimpsest of lethargiferous vapidity and Saturnine hebetude—an ataractic rhapsody wherein the concatenation of occurrences did so attenuate into mere eidolonic susurrus that all semblance of peripeteia was exinanited ab initio; it did, in fine, vegetate in a catabasis of sempiternal inanition and phlegmatic abeyance. Wherefore I should, with adamantine recusancy, decline any reiterate peregrination through its jejune and mephitic prolixity.

I really didn't understand army dog
They spend the entire film talking about war crimes and setting up the final act but then there is no pay off. Army Dog never gets his comeuppance he just goes home and gets called a good boy
