Story is... Hard to say, but pretty good. Main story first few chapters have shitty translation, but there are definitely gems along the way as you progress. Event stories are nice, my favs are 2.1 (spooky motel) and 2.7 (sending child into space)

Updates about every month? And every patch, they'll rerun an event from 3 patches back, after that they archive it for you to play forever, and the characters from there are added to the standard pool.

As for if you're late, you did miss like the entire AC2 collab with its overpowered as fuck characters, but honestly there's constantly new metas being released and fleshed out with at least 4 characters. Also like that's only relevant if you're some metafag trying to clear reveries (really really REALLY hard challenge mode)

Also since I just realized what board I'm on (I keep tabs and forget about them kind of) I would say there is yuri, but also almost always it is doomed, but hey there's a basically canon lesbian I guess (but since game is based in China, ofc not actually confirmed in game). She's a 5 star, that's a 4 star if you're coming here from Genshin or something, and like I said above meh metafagging overrated just get who you want I've done that multiple times and been chilling with my characters

Rubuska is not a real vampire. Aima on the other hand is, but she's a half-vampire. Corvus is Aima's caretaker and gives Aima the blood she needs, so Aima hasn't fed on Rubuska (yet).

Really depends on what you want out of a ship. Kakania and Isolde start out on good terms but end up in a bad situation which some may refer to as "doomed yuri". Whereas Sentinel and Marsha are the opposite. They start off on bad terms but end up becoming attached to each other, which some have called "enemies to lovers". Personally I prefer the latter, but it's not like Kakania and Isolde are dead so they can repair their relationship in the future.

I've noticed that the limited characters in this game don't really do much for the yuri fans, which presumably are the majority of people playing this game. Among the 6 limiteds only Anjo Nala is really yuri-pandering, and even then she's a 2nd or 3rd option for the girls she's shipped with.

I find Nautika grows to become very attached to Vertin over the course of the story, which is surprising to me because I don't see a lot of Vertin x Nautika fanart.
My theory is originally limited characters was designed to be shipped with player. Not player character (Vertin) but player. That's why they have Yamato Nadeshiko-esque design (long black hair, pale skin, and isn't very bright) and the first two limited's story doesn't involve Vertin at all.
But sometime when designing Anjo Nala, I feel like the staffs come to the logical conclusion that because Vertin is player's avatar (to a degree), that if limited character is supposed to be in love with the player, then that means they will be in love with Vertin (hence, Anjo Nala).
Either that or they realize the yuri shipper in this game outnumber the het shipper (including the staffs), so just make the limited attached to Vertin.

So there's a phenomenon called the storm that keeps resetting time to various parts of the 20th century, preventing time from going past 1999. Vertin and her companions go around recruiting arcanists (magic users) from different time periods and nations, while trying to solve the mystery of the storm. There's a lot of stylishly dressed characters and of course mythical creatures like vampires, mermaids, etc.
Gameplay-wise it's a turn-based card game, you have a couple of cards in your hand dedicated to each character. You can reshuffle, combine cards to make them stronger, etc.
Yuri-wise, it's probably the most yuri-friendly gacha game in China at the moment. The main character is female (no option to choose gender), the male characters in the game express no interest in her , while a few girls do specifically like her. But if you don't care for MC-oriented shipping, there's a ton of pairs that don't involve Vertin. You can watch these trailers to get a feel for what the series is like.

3.x main story is more cohesive/better planned than 2.x main story so you can predict which characters are going to be playable next, and none of them are Schneider.

When Beryl cries as she sealed Félicienne, it kinda makes me question, is Félicienne Beryl's wife before the storm happened? As in is she Matilda's other mom?
And it kinda make sense (to me at least). Matilda doesn't seems to share Beryl personality, but Félicienne's prideful dialogues reminds me of Matilda, except less tsundere and more actually aggresive. So Matilda gets her attitude/personality from her other mom, while her physique is from Beryl.
Last event we have Verity confrot the reality that her lover and Corvus don't share personality, only appearances. So if my suspicion is true then this event continues with another doomed MILF yuri. And maybe Beryl working with Manus was because she tried to find a way to ressurect Félicienne, but in this event she finally accept that her Félicienne is gone forever, with only the remnants left behind that no longer remember about their domestic life or their romantic life.
