I am a Holliday main who just got done with a match where I screamed multiple times "I HATE THIS FUCKING GAME" and "MY ULT IS FUCKING GARBAGE". This is normal behavior for me because Holliday fucking sucks and is only good for the 0.5% of the time where you pull of something super slick, otherwise you're just eating shit and wishing your tools were even half as good as anyone else on the team.

My problem with Holliday is entirely in her ult. Think about how many characters have an ult that is able to kill and entire team if they were bunched up and low on health. Even in the most clean, beautiful, perfectly executed scenario, you can only lasso fucking ONE person. If you miss? No refund, you gotta wait. There's no residual damage. Meanwhile look at Celeste's ult. It bounces from player to player, you don't even need to hit a fucking player to start it, you can put it on a minion and it will automatically bounce to a fucking player nearby. It slows the player, it does damage, it reduces their dash distance, and even if players leave the area immediately, it can go to a minion, bounce between minions, and BACK onto a hero if they show back up.

Literally load any hero and look at their ult and how much damage it can do, how much area denial it can do, how much multi-kill potential there is, and then try to convince me "uhhh but you can lasso Silver when she ults and everyone can take her out, that's really strong." Absolute bullshit.

This is the same problem Paradox has. Their ults are pick abilities. They are designed to force people out of position and exacerbate the tiniest tiniest overstep into a free kill and a subsequent 6v5. They're extremely strong to the point these characters are constantly picked in comp play and all their other abilities suck dick (relatively speaking) just because the 4 is so good.
Problem is, people make idiotic mistakes constantly in pubs. You do not need pick at all when you can just pop a teamfight ult on 6 retards who are already positioned badly 95% of the time anyway.

Give him a drunkometer. One of his skills is to take a swig that gives some buffs and also introduces bullet deviation as the meter builds
The more drunk he is the more bam he packs in his explosives so you have to balance between being three sheets to the wind and moderately buzzed as the meter empties over time and entirely on respawn.

1. Headless Horseman. It's late modern New York with a horror aesthetic. They have to at least reference him at some point.
2. Gremlins. Gremlins are mythical creatures invented during World War 1. It would make sense for them to actually exist in Deadlock's setting.
3. Merman.
4. Mummy. Deadlock is missing two Universal monsters who are also recurring characters in Hellboy - these two.
5. Carhop. Need a cute girl on rollerskates. I think Valve has zeroed in on the occult aesthetic over the time period, so a normal girl on rollerskates wouldn't fit - she needs something else. I'm just not sure what.

I had a dream that Valve released a new hero just called Tennis Guy, and he looked like a model, taken straight from the TF2 alpha, of pic related. Fidelity and all. Like, they didn't update the textures or poly count from 2006. And his entire gimmick was that he just played tennis in the middle of the match and bounced balls of off the wall and, inexplicably, players would never jump his ass and beat him to death but they'd play tennis back.

In my dream, a third of the discussion was people saying it was woke male sexualization, a third was calling those people retards and posting pics of 1950s tennis players, and the final third was people saying that he was the greatest MOBA hero ever created and that Icefrog beat the Icefraud allegations.

It wasn't in my dream but I assume his backstory is that he's literally just some tennis player that wandered into the ritual and doesn't know what's going on.
