It's been a hot minute since I played GOW5 so lets see if I remember right:

Kait is the daughter of a woman who was tested and experimented on by a mad scientist and somehow became the brood queen of the Locust and in the span of 30-40 years managed to create an entire massive society of Locusts, enough to create a Locust culture and war machine big enough to nearly wipe out COG. Kait's first boyfriend is the son of Marcus Fenix who's a sad boy now because he made a bad call and lost his arm and her second boyfriend is a black man but I don't remember anything about him and then there is a Paki who's just a bully. COG has giant robots now thus invalidating a lot of the need for infantry.
