I'm very happy with Arioc's spear that dropped earlier today. Gave me 10k more damage than Spirit. Sadly it's +2 instead of +4 to all, but beggars can't be choosers, etc. Some anon linked a youtube video where they explain it's objectively the best weapon for echoing strike in game.

Warlock was designed by fanboys who attempted to "balance" the underused items

Nothing wrong with vendoring islestrike, it's vendor trash anyways. Bad Arioc's aren't worth trying to trade away either, +2 and low +ED non eth won't get you squat.

Vendoring IK Hammer though, that's sacrilege. It's not great, but it's a perfectly useable 2hander for WW baba

The funny thing is, barb class runeword (Myth) is also on the cheap end (Hel Amn Nef), but it's SHIT. Barb doesn't care about +skills as much as other classes, and there is nothing else on it worth a damn (30 defense against missiles, 10 replenish life, attacker takes 14 damage). What do you get on warlock armor? 20% FHR, 30% fire res, 40-60% enhanced damage. Even procs are better. Barb gets way more out warlock (or amazon for that matter) armor than his own.

I don't know if it's because I'm playing the Warlock DLC but boss drops are absolutely fucked. I'm running 440 MF and regularly get just blues and a rare. Back in the day with this much MF I'd be swimming in garbage set and unique items but I'm not even getting Sigons or Cathans.

I am just having fun playing the base game without giving blizzard another red cent for their twitch streamer created and horribly made class.

i got spoiled the first week of warlock being able to run everything i ever wanted on my non ladder character, now that its ladder i just don't really feel it anymore, oh and maphack is dead so I hate having to find the right places to go without it. Maphack was a fucking great thing and blizzard finally killed it.

How much freedom do you have to experiment with your character and respec?
I probably spend a few million gold respeccing passive nodes in POE2 cause i like to play around with shit

After that you have to farm act bosses for essences (10% drop I think?) and combine them for a respec token. Might take a day or two if you are unlucky and not decked out yet.

as long as you get certain items from bosses, which is like 4 items, andy, meph, diablo, and baal, you can take the items (essences) and transmute to a token of reset. While on your way to getting to hell you can reset once per difficulty via act 1 quest 1s finished quest. You'll be fine.
