Been years since I played LoL but I always hated how irrelevant she became after season 3 or 4. Sure, I seen she had a gimmicky AP build but that's hardly fun. Her passive was essentially useless, something that should have been added to her ult. Her W was just a speed boost. With all the mobility creep the game has had, she needed something that brought all elements together. No idea if it'll be good, but I expect it to be cancer.

At some point after seeing what they were doing, they decided to settle disputes with Champions. So, they'd pick some random bum off the planet and use them as a puppet to fight on their behalf in Summoner's Rift.

At least, that was the old lore. Now, it's a convoluted mess where multiverses, including for all the themed skins, retconned lore, retconned characters, and new ones flood the original context, that nothing means anything anymore. For example, Bard, some deity-like cosmic entity is so powerful and complex, Riot simply didn't want to explain anything about him. Or how Yordles used to be just obnoxious, fuzzy creatures from Bandle City(mostly). Now, they're immortal spirit creatures that are still obnoxious with no connection to any one place anymore, since they're undying and long-lived.
