Not really. REmake and 5 believably look like the same person with a lot more muscle mass and age. 6 tweaked his eye shape, but still looks like a continuation of how he looked in 5.

While 8 is a new face, it's still clearly a reimagining of how he looked in 6 with a more realistic art style and now middle aged. I can see Chris there. 7 is the one that stands out as entirely unrecognizable, not even one single feature is reminiscent.
His eye color is not remotely consistent but that rarely is in games.

One reason it's odd is because we don't have a "young Chris" in the new RE engine style, like we have young Leon. If you had a RE1 or CV era Chris that looked like a young version of 8 it'd be more seamless.
