I totally get what Capcom was trying to do with Grace. She’s an analyst who witnessed her mother's death so it makes sense that she’s perpetually traumatized and in shock. But in practice it’s just realistically unbearable. It feels like such a waste of a talented voice actress to have her just stuttering and whimpering from start to finish.
Being "just an analyst" has never really been an excuse in this franchise for a character to be this grating. We have this intense plot involving Gideon and Zeno, yet Grace spends the whole time hyperventilating instead of using her brain to piece things together. There’s a way to show someone is out of their depth without making them exhausting to listen to for hours. I really wish they let her FBI expertise shine through the panic at least a little bit.

From the very first trailer when she picked up the phone and acknowledged her identity to a stranger was enough to paint her as a terrible FBI agent.
