It's crazy. It's actually hilarious that the first of the line released was the Kingdom Key, which is much more coveted than Three Wishes. When I went to Disneyland that day I arrived at like 6:45 AM and was able to get one. But after the fucking insane price gouging online for these pins, I anticipated Three Wishes would be even more competitive. So I got there instead at 4 AM (driving in the fog was terrifying), and the line filled up at like 5:20. The amount of people I heard in line calling it "Kingdom of Hearts" was sickening, and there were a lot of line jumpers and some people angry and bitching at each other, who I assume to be scalpers. Often they came with their entire family to make like 10 transactions. A bunch of regular pintraders too, either people getting one to trade for something they'd like later on, getting them for friends, or because they genuinely like Kingdom Hearts.

Pintraders normally opens at 9, but on those days they opened at 8. I got my pin at like 8:20 or so, and then checked out another store before leaving. When I passed by Pintraders on my way back at around 8:38, the shop manager came out and announced to the crowd that they were almost out of Three Wishes pins. So they effectively sold out in 40 minutes.

The price of these pins probably means there'll be counterfeits floating around soon enough, and I can't imagine Three Wishes is as popular as the Kingdom Key is, so I wonder if as many sold as last time. Next month should be Crabclaw.

Personally I hope Disney starts giving out numbered wristbands in line to prevent line jumping, and to enforce only 1 pin per person so more will be available to everyone. Cause this shit's madness.

i was thinking of redoing my homebrew game of kingdom hearts, anyone have any ideas that i can toss into my game (5e of course but i dont mind dipping into something else)

i ran one back in the day but i have no idea how i did it, trying to remember what i did but from what i have:
-takes place after the dandelions left during the war
- in that weird ambiguity zone where we don't have enough lore to do anything (Kinda)
-5 teachers teaching students, each teacher has a play on "may your heart be your guiding key" or something like that.
-depending on which teacher you go with, you'll have different slights to use during battle
-everyone is a fighter, but i know i had something about forms to change your battle-style?
- if you lose your heart you're done, become a heartless obviously
-after missing link i have no idea where to place that era

Yeah you're right that Pieces were needed to deal real damage, but movement in 3D still facilitated a console-like gameplay and you could do regular Keyblade combos, while KHUX was turn-based and you'd never attack with your Keyblade unless you either didn't slot a medal or didn't have enough AP to activate a medal on your carousel.

I got the Kingdom Hearts collection on sale for the PS5. Was KH1 always this fucking slow? I remember the camera sucking but I didn't realize the transition to camera on the right-stick made it for an odd sloppy experience. I keep opening the settings to see if I can increase sensitivity but there's nothing. Even pressing jump to the game receiving the input is abysmal.

I need to confess. At the end of KH1 I cried when Sora sacrificed himself to free Kairi's heart. At the end of KH2 I cried when Sora fell on his knees after finally finding Riku. I also felt really bad for Roxas during the train scene when he cried through Sora.

I hope Nomura just rolls with the Missing-Link cancellation and instead of retelling the story, just has old Scala inexplicably vanish out of existence. It was doomed to fade anyway. The rest of the events become paradoxical cause they were already etched into continuity, and Player and Brain get banished out of Scala to Quadratum in response.

Thus, there existed a Player who canonically lived through Scala, adopted Xehanort, and died on Destiny Islands, and a Player who committed a sin of canon and whose life dramatically and drastically was changed forever.
