I downloaded a stopwatch program but that was it.

Well I fixed it by deleting the battleye folder from the game's directory. The prior folder I deleted was a different one. To be honest I have no idea what the multiple files and folders are for, nor how battleye works aside from that it's apparently a firmware thing.

I tried doing Cayo yesterday and on the steps going up to the office I shot a guard and the whole island got alerted and I have no idea why...

Every time we do Cayo we shoot almost everyone inside the compound and we get elite challenge, the issue is knowing when it's best to shoot or melee a target, in some cases missing a shot and hitting a wall is enough to be heard by a guard and trigger the alarm, sometimes if you shoot somebody while there is a guard too close might trigger the alarm because they hear the body hit the ground (happen to me while killing the guard that spawns close to the heavy at the start), you just need to know which guards to clear and in which order so you don't trigger the alarm, the steps to the office is tricky because there is one guard that can hear you kill the one running up the stairs, unless you kill the other first obviously.

I dabble in speedrunning, I do things co-op with a friend (mainly Cayo Perico, it's fun to co-ordinate it), I race sometimes but I haven't gotten very deap into it. I like to engage in freemode pvp, and sometimes use my knowledge of the game to utilize unorthodox vehicles and methods for it. I don't really "grind" per se, but I do sometimes see how much I can maximize proffit in the smallest amount of time. I've taken it less seriously, eschewed anything boring if it starts to get too much, during which times I do something different to mix it up a bit (I typically had a hierarchy of activitiesthat I would prioritize with the highest paying at the top). I hadn't utilized a lot of businesses and missions for the longest time so I've started doing that just to get a feel for them, and also unlock career progress rewards. I used to only pay for supplies but I've begun doing sal. I ended up realizing that a number of the things I did habbitually weren't really the most efficient, so I play it more open minded. I help randos sometimes, even though some of the time you're dealing with the most boneheaded cocky griefer retards you've ever seen (griefers tend to actually be retarded when you see them up close, the lot of them aren't actually good, just experienced at being asswipes). Randos seem more tolerable on PC enhanced than I've experienced with console. If I had to guess the playerbase is less full of children on PC.

Playing with a friend helps the game a lot.

No worries I fixed my gaym. I don't really know how I did, but I deleted 3 different battleye folders. One in the game directory, one in common files, and one in appdata. I then verified my game files through steam, and it restored them, that didn't work so I went to R* support, they said to do a clean boot, so I did that, relaunched, and it fixed it.

Are there unplayable for anyone else? My game goes screwy everytime I try to do them. My van kept coming to abrupt stops every 10 seconds in the same way vehicles do when you try to switch your character. I just couldn't deal with it and left the session because it was going to take 30 minutes all because of that. I've had weirder things happen too.

yes. I think it's actually underrated amongst story focused gamers. Rockstar pulls great performances out of unknown actors that I think puts a lot of games to shame.
It's definitely silly in nature but I really love the themes and I think there's a lot more there to appreciate under the surface about the characters than people realize.
Michael is hands down the most interesting GTA protagonist imo.

It has it's sloppiness, like all games, trying to tie blockbuster moments into the story. But the more I play it the more I notice things and have more respect for it. The first time I played it I thought eh it's okay, but no GTA4. Now I like it just as much as 4, if not more.

I've posted it already but I made a sturmtruppen outfit. This one isn't hard to glitch, in fact it's hardly a glitch beyond the eyes which involve a glitch to use face masks and glasses at the same time. It makes the eyes areas look shiny, where normally it's clear. You use heist coveralls, then just add the other clothing items from there. Black biker helmet, black heist pants, black trench coat, leather gloves. I haven't done anything too crazy yet, but mostly just because a lot of them begin with creating a new second character, but the one I main IS my second character so I don't know if any of them will work for me.

I had a dream they added more planes to the game and a plane that was something of a cross between a MiG-35 and Su-33. It had VTOL for some reason. It was set apart from other planes because it had a non explosive minigun, and it had bombs, which no other fighter jets have. It flew almost like the alkonost and it was probably twice the size of the raiju.

I think that would actually make for a good plane in this game.

I've been telling people for years, find someone who has a kosatka and take turns doing each others perico with each one taking their respective 85% and then 15% depending on if you're hosting or not, you will just make much more money than farming solo, specially considering the biggest 85% payout cut for the first three items (Tequila, Bonds, Necklace) is bigger with 2 than with 3 and 4, specially more than with 1 person, 4 people give you the biggest payout with diamond and pather i believe but 4 people cayo sounds like an absolute mess.

christ's fucking sake, they didn't even make the classic spoilers. They copypasted those retarded fuckhuge dorifto wings but not the simple ducktail and low wing model (that it's been in the game since day 1) which resembles the one on the GTS.
Nowaday they just google "X car" and straight up copy from the firsts image results (see the Itali Classic as the most recent blatant example) and even then they somehow still fail at doing the bare minimum.

I kinda feel it happens with a lot of content across updates, nothing fits seamlessly, everything is implemented differently and feels completely detached from the last thing, businesses, heists, and im not saying that they are written differently I mean things, activities that carry over between updates from simple actions to ways to do a heist are the same but done differently, from minutia like prep work in salvage yard being mandatory but being spaced differently from things you launch from the world and things you launch from the open world, something i find stupid they should just have simply made it just another mandatory thing you launch from inside, to extremely insane and jarring gameplay aspects like stun guns being able to disable cameras in one heist but not in others.
The new heat mechanic for the last businesses from the money laundry update that only work on them and are so incredibly annoying and unfun that it feels a chore having to maintain those businesses running when every single other one really doesn't need that much care.
Sometimes killing enemies in stealth still triggering enemies or whatever despite you using silencers, sometimes being forced you into an alarm state despite stealth being an option through most of whatever you're doing.
I can go on and on, despite me enjoying this game I know there is a lot to criticize here.

Nah I'm just retarded. It's my fault to take the risk. To be fair the initial plan was a sale and I opted to do a quick resupply, mainly for the carrear challenges. It was a populated lobby and I was a CEO in it so I opted to stay.

I quit the resupply anyways midway through because the bunker resupplies because they're so fucking shit and I just got tired of it.

It mainly sucks because I didn't remember it, and if I did I'd have used my vehicle spawns more wisely. I fly to cypress flatts to do the hack for the plane, had my iron mule nearby forgetting this was the plane resupply, then when I take off my sparrow is damaged. When I finally get all the way accross the map and start hacking, my sparrow dies. After all of this nonsense my personal aircraft spawn is still on cooldown. When things like that happen, whatever minute satisfaction may have been gained from completion is far outweighed. Playing things like that is in effect, to have an argument with the game, and that time the game lost.

Why am I sometimes blacklisted from being able to register as a boss? The option isn't even there. There are spaces for it too.

This game is just cursed sometimes. I swear every endeavor I've tried today was filled with miraculously bad obsticles, some of which logically senseless, as if reality right now is actively precluding me from being able to do anything in it. Must not be God's will or something.

Were black screens on biker sales always a problem or is this a recent downgrade?
