Snake Eyes does nothing but spam bodies to make generic links. Azamina WF mainly pivots between the White Forest synchro monsters and Azamina fusions as well as playing a handful of archetypal quickplay spell/trap disruptions.
If you are just wanting to use Diabellstar then in the former she's just an extender who gets linked off while the latter her retrain is a boss monster and you can actually make use of her signature spell/traps(realistically people just play Silvera).

If you want to actually kill the game, free all of the ishizu and tear cards. That was the actual closest the game ever got to dying.

When the game was released, it was fine to have a shitty meta with broken decks because we had a high player count.
This meant the number of meta slaves was relatively low to the casual with shit decks, so petdeck enjoyers more often than not would play with other petdeck connoisseurs on ranks lower than platinum.
Now 8 out of 10 games you will face against meta decks. Even on bronze, silver and gold it will be the same.

I mean my locals was pretty fun for the most part so I guess its more nostalgia than anything. Mermails were absolute cancer I won't lie, but chaos dragons were fun to play and play against. Machina and geargia decks were fine, and spellbooks didn't have judgement so they were manageable. Dino rabbit and hero beatdown were fine too. I guess we had a lot of players who were able to still play with their pet deck for the most part. Mermails were honestly the only problem I remember from that format, and I miss that power level of the game compared to what we have now.

It's Master Duel so yeah you can just scoop at any minor inconvenience, but 95% of the time you shouldn't be instantly losing to those cards. Extension is bad in old formats so there's no good reason to risk setting 4 backrow turn 1 when they could have Heavy Storm instead of just setting 1 or 2. If they hit 2 backrow with Storm then oh well, that sucks but it's not the end of the world.

Making digital doujinshi isn't that profitable since people will pirate it. This isn't made up, it's a fact. Certain works have more views on pirate sites than official sales.
Comiket is good but you can't rely only on it due to limitations.
Patreon and fantia, fanbox etc. are good but it's hard to get going, only works for already big people. Artists that aren't mainstream only get scraps.
Pixiv is shit but japanese people use it a lot so it's ok for getting comissions.
Twitter, or rather, Xitter, is good. But to make money, and keep making it, you need to stay popular and mainstream.
Combined with the fact that Konami doesn't sponsor artist to stealth market or sell doujinshi like a certain korean company does... things are against ygo.
Only people who genuinely like it draw it.

You can spend some a lot of time just efficiently breaking a board, but then you have to make your plays too because next turn the opponent is going to do everything all over again.
