Missions from "Web Events", AKA WebView events. It's those in the events panel that load a web page instead of being implemented on the game app itself, you can tell because they are slower to load and interact with, besides other tells that it's a website. It's a legacy approach from when the game was published by Smilegate since they used to do that for E7 (but ever since they have also moved away from it by 2025). By virtue of being web pages opened through the game client they don't always behave 1-to-1 with "native" UI/events. The developer should account for it but it's sort of a known issue.

I wonder if it's still possible to push for another animation update for M.Iota. On one hand, her S2 and S3 are still untouched, and they could use that "eye candy" factor that I feel is missing from MIota in battle. On the other hand, the playerbase is probably largely satisfied with what we got, and I doubt the devs want to spend any more time and resources on this unit than they already have (not counting costumes of course)

I like the increased focus on the music, but while I do like the new tracks it got me thinking; will it offer 3 language variations like the old opening did (though I can no longer find From Abyss in JP on YT anymore) or will it just be one language? Also maybe I’m alone in this but a full version of From Abyss would still be much appreciated, especially when many BGMs use it as a motif. Luck or not it really holds the soul of the game for me alongside a few other tracks like battle 1/2.

How much does a max resilience setup give you? The rest are mostly optional. IMO ther order of value is

1. Tamamo who is so strong in pve even when capped she still does decent damage let alone uncapped. She’s a regular option for stuff like adventure license and early guild raid levels.

2. Dianne offers one of the few team wide speed buffs, very useful when the need for double fire teams arises.

3. Summer Ember is weird because she is basically off meta for every game mode but she’s almost never invalid for anything because of how well rounded she is. Has the most seggs lobby as a bonus.

4. Regina is currently not worth it beyond lobby, might change with eventual fusion core upgrade.

Limited chararcters have different tickets. Primine is a good healer so you should take her if you don't have one already. I'd suggest you to get more girls save around 200 tickets for new characters. The game with throw a lot of these tickets at you.

Get different characters. You can farm shards from dailies and you will get dupes over time from rolling on limiteds and demis. Standard dupes aren't big powerups.

Seasonal Ame is one of the best pve heroes in the game, seasonal Tamamo is more niche but is the best at what she does. Ember is also a great choice for early players since she does it all. I’d suggest getting one of each copy as a new player if possible, with Ame as the biggest priority she makes life much easier and has a unique kit.

Monad Iota has now been buffed so she’s actually legit strong now unlike before. However unlike Stella/Luna/Meva and most of all Mame a large portion of Miota’s strength relies on dark heroes and for PvP it’s even specific dark heroes so she’s a lot less plug and play in comparison to her light counterparts. She is however vastly superior to pre-buff, night and day difference.

If you’re a new player, Miota is absolutely optional, but she will make life easier especially at 4*+

Also not sure if it matters where characters stand in the formation and if you are supposed to have someone bulkier tanking hits or at least a healer keeping up your girls

Full element teams are useful but not necessary. The Quirk menu at base gives you a number of reasons to run all one element, and running one element does help build chain points, but utility and synergy for comps in both PvE and PvP tend to matter more.
Healers do help you push through PvE content, you don't need it for every stage but especially when you're under required power it helps a lot regardless. It's mostly because healing itself/health regen/debuff cleanse/immunity mostly belong to this class, and the few other units in other classes that have similar functions (3* Luna for example) tend to not cover the groups of upkeep you need for a particular stage to go smoothly. That said, if you're interested in dickpicking over anything, you can easily make do for PvE with the normal 3* characters. Get one that can cleanse, and one that can give immunity.
As far as position goes, some people say that the lowest HP unit is prioritized most of the time, otherwise the frontmost unit is attacked. Basically don't worry about it, if the boss itself doesn't designate the front unit needs to be X class on one of its attacks (usually its first skill), it's not relevant.
Defenders in general I'd say are more of a niche class. Most of them can carry you by stalling fights, but healers can do that better most of the time. They tend to come with a particular passive utility that can be situationally good, so outside of that, you can get away with not running them for many stages.

No don’t worry about class balance. You’ll quickly realize what matters are the hero’s individual kits as well as what enemy you face.

For example, in no gimmicks battles, you ca easily run 4x anything or 1 of each or whatever so long as you can make it work. On the other hand some bosses give bonuses to your team if you meet certain party requirements while penalizing something else. An example would be like

>every time an enemy ranger attacks, heals enemy team for 10% of their max hp

Shit like this. But generally the only rule is don’t run more than 2 healers in pve if you see turn limits otherwise you’ll probably lack damage to finish the stage before turn limit hits. This is where MEva comes in because her s1 acts as a dps attack basically whereas healers like Nella and Dianne have valuable utility but might be deadweight beyond that and healing.

Yes, You can sweep the stage for 20 times afterwards. Stage 3 gives the highest amount.

Initial clear wont give any bonus even when using the bonus characters. Taking them to the stage after clearing the stage and sweeping it is when the bonus applies.
