Imperial can't use subweapons and you need a katana to get stance boosts, zodiac is generally the best so your elemental drives can ding though multi-shot from gunner can trigger on drives
Best damage output for hero is sub war magus using pumpkin bat/zhezl
Nightseeker mainly just wants status up but bone crusher is also nice
Zodiac optimal damage is to sub shogun for peerless demon
Princess uhh just take survivalist for quick step they'll almost exclusively use main class skills

It'd be nice to make use of the character creator in Tale of the Forsaken Land but the game's throwing too many pre-made and leveled characters at my face and sometimes they do neat things like pickpocket other NPCs during story moments. If they end up being bad then it's no big deal since it's relatively quick and easy to grind up new party members. I'm on B6 now and the encounters have been a bit tougher starting with floor 5 but i'm still managing just fine. Definitely feels like a game designed to ease a new generation into Wizardry but it's still a good time regardless though I am starting to wish there was a way to skip or fastforward through animations.
