I think it's very dark soulsian that when you remove the context of plants, the sun is actively and solely a detriment to all animal life on the planet. It actively poisons and mutates us every moment that we stand in its light. Reptiles are the only animals on the planet that have actually adapted to benefit from or require sunlight in any significant way, and it barely helps them at all, like 90% of them are nocturnal anyway, despite still needing the sun. The poisonous part of the sun, just to make it even more poetic.

I think my main issue with Ilsa is if you jump to reach her you get destroyed and if you try to approach her on foot you either get lasered or some other delayed bs. You basically have to constantly gamble and it's even worse than with the other busted characters
