I've played since season 0 (with breaks) and always avoided ranked for the most part because solo queuing fucking sucks, but this season I gave it a real try since I now had a friend who was wanting to play ranked together. Had to solo it until Gold II but so far it's been going a lot smoother than QP ever does.
